The house is a beautiful 18th century, listed cottage located at the Fisherhead end of the village, a short distance (0.2 miles) away from the beach, pubs, and shops. The village has a lot of character and is always busy with hikers who have either arrived or a departing on long-treks along the aforementioned walking trails. Visitor attractions close to the property include Falling Foss waterfall (5 miles), Whitby Abbey (5 miles), Captain Cook & Staithes Heritage Centre (15.5 miles), Land of Iron (20 miles), Runswick Bay (13.5 miles), and Roseberry Topping (29 miles).
Step through the front door into the very comfortable lounge with its adjoining dining room and kitchen to socialise in together. There is a wood burner-effect gas fire, cosy seating, and a TV in the lounge area. Stepping into the kitchen, you will find that it is well equipped for all your needs and very spacious too. On the ground floor, there is also a snug with seating and an extra TV, a selection of books, board games & DVD's. WII console with games. On the upper floors, you will encounter the accommodation’s bedrooms and bathrooms. On the first floor, there is a king-size, and a twin, as well as a bathroom with a sloping ceiling. There is also a separate WC close by. Up on the top floor, you will find the third bedroom which is a king-size with sea views. Please take care on the steep stairs.
