A lavish retreat for families and friendship groups, this impressive property is studded within the charming village of Newport, East Yorkshire. Sleeping 11 guests across five bedrooms, this abode is sleek and stylish yet delightfully homely with underfloor heating and plenty of cosy nooks to curl up and rest as well as an array of entertainment options.

The kitchen provides an alchemy of contemporary convenience and quintessential charm, blending top-of-the-range appliances with effortlessly chic units and ample worktop space for whipping up culinary masterpieces. Your locally sourced produce will be transformed into feasts thanks to the electric double oven and hob, and you’ll also have a microwave, dishwasher and an American-style fridge/freezer at your disposal. For caffeine enthusiasts, the coffee machine is a welcome addition for your first coffee of the day or an afternoon pick-me-up. Take a seat at the breakfast bar for light snacks or uncork a bottle of good wine and light candles for a more glamorous mealtime in the lounge/diner.

Prepare to unwind and head through to the lounge/diner to find a comfortable hub that’s perfectly suited to spending quality time together watching your favourite films or just enjoying a good catch up over a hot drink and a few tempting treats. Snuggle down in the deep sofas and make the most of some relaxation time. There’s a TV, lots of cosy seating and two dining tables for special mealtimes and board games.

Natural light pours in through the bi-fold doors that run the width of the second lounge area and games room, offering a view of the spacious garden. This delightful space is perfect for using your last dregs of energy before retiring for the night, or for a casual evening playing pool. There are snug sofas to curl up on, and if you step outside you’ll be able to stargaze with ease. Along from here, you’ll also find a handy utility room and a shower room, these will certainly come in useful after a countryside adventure.

Seek sanctuary upstairs on the first floor at bedtime, choosing from five elegant bedrooms that have been beautifully finished to provide a restful retreat at the end of a busy day. Two have their own en-suite shower rooms, but all share the decadent bathroom that’s also on this level. Pampering sessions are a must in the roll-top bath, best enjoyed with a glass of something fizzy, and a few lavish toiletries. There’s a shower too if you prefer an invigorating start to the day.

Summer afternoons call for BBQ suppers and cocktails in the garden whilst the children enjoy garden games, or perhaps you would prefer to kick back and recharge your batteries with a cheeky snooze. The nearest pub is 1 mile away for the nights you don’t feel like cooking, and there is ample off-road parking available.

Fabulous holiday house, we couldn't have asked for anything better. Plenty of space and storage on both floors to enjoy a family celebration. The games room and the outside area were particularly enjoyed by all ages. Owner was extremely friendly and helpful on arrival. Plenty of parking for 4 cars. Would highly recommend this house.

A well equipped property that could be improved if it were secure for the dogs and included the grassed area within the property boundary.

The house was wonderful, the roll top bath was a dream to slip into. The sitting room was well equipped, with plenty of seating. The induction hob was a little slow but the two ovens were great. The dishwasher needed a thorough clean but was great as there were 11 of us. The outside was great and all in all we really enjoyed our stay.

This house was excellent for a four generation family. It was very well equipped. We managed to sit outside a couple of times and the patio would be great during hot weather. It's position was good to get to attractions.
