This property is an impressive two-bedroom holiday cottage set at the foot of Great Whernside, Kettlewell. Perfectly placed on a quiet and peaceful street at the heart of this pastoral village, this delightful luxury cottage sleeps up to four people and is the ideal choice for couples, friends or families looking to enjoy the outdoors.

With an excellent location, this pretty stone cottage is less than 200 metres from the amenities of the picturesque village of Kettlewell, including the two pubs, the village store and a tearoom. You could take a stroll along the river or follow the Dales Way to discover a number of charming villages, each with its own unique charm, while walking through a wealth of breathtaking countryside.

Step inside and find a beautifully appointed property which has been designed and furnished in a 'reverse-level' layout to afford you the luxury of having the most magnificent countryside views. There is a bright, cottage-style feel throughout creating a homely vibe that you can easily relax into.

Climb the staircase to the first floor and a beautiful open-plan lounge and dining area welcomes you with an eye-catching feature stone fireplace, lovely rug and cosy multi-fuel burner (first basket of logs provided). Picture yourself curled up on the plush sofas or with your feet up on the foot stool relaxing after a busy day out; watch a favourite film or series on the Smart TV or imagine yourself and friends or family sitting together around the wooden dining table enjoying a glass of wine or playing a game of cards. During the day, the dining and lounge areas are bathed in natural light from the large windows.

The wonderful contemporary kitchen has been cleverly designed with plenty of space and a breakfast bar with seating that keeps this a social space where you can chat over the day’s events. All the appliances you need to prepare unforgettable meals are on hand.

The property has two good-sized bedrooms and a bathroom with a shower over the bath located on the ground floor. Both bedrooms are decorated with light colours and are perfect to retire to at the end of the day - one is a king-size room with built in wardrobes and the second is a twin room.

For peace of mind, on the ground floor, you will find a smart utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer, the perfect place to leave coats and muddy boots after a day exploring The Dales and to take care of any day-to-day practicalities.

Outside this charming property, there is a beautiful enclosed rear garden with a lawned area. We loved Amerdale Cottage. One of the best holiday properties we have stayed in. Very clean, well equipped, great location and very reasonably priced.. Everything was very convenient. When we had a minor query, Sara responded very promptly. The views from upstairs were lovely. If we visit the area again we will definitely book Amerdale Cottage agaiRead moren. Spacious cottage in a brilliant location with handy off road parking for 2 cars. We were welcomed with a generous hamper & good supply tea, coffee, sugar & fresh milk. Good reviews are tricky in case you want to go back and they are fully booked but this cottage is perfect. The living room and dining area are upstairs with beautiful views of the hills. Our first visit. The cottage is excellent in every respect. The attention to detail is outstanding. It really feels as if you are in someones home rather than a holiday let. Amerdale is a delightful cottage in a lovely location. It is very clean and comfortable and the layout with the lounge upstairs is ideal to make the most of the beautiful scenery with views of the lambs frolicking in the fields behind. The owner has thought of everything to make the stay at the cottage as ideal and memorable as possible. Lovely cottage in the heart of Kettlewell. The cottage had a well equipped kitchen, including a steamer for vegetables which is always a plus. The cottage is set in beautiful surroundings, with a pretty garden, views of hills and dales, and good parking. We found it well equipped for all weathers, cosy, clean and comfortable.
