There’s also a delightful sunroom overlooking the garden, an ideal space for a morning coffee as you get ready for the day ahead. The location is perfect for anyone wanted a base to investigate the local area. It's nice and quiet, and near enough tom local services and tourist areas like York.

We came to celebrate Christmas with my sister who lives 10mins away and found our stay very good. We could have hosted the Christmas dinner at the cottage as it was big enough. The cottage was lovely and warm and we had a lovely time. It was very well equipped and we had lovely walks around the area. Unfortunately we did not get a chance to use theRead more hottub. The property was well equipped and extremely clean. Sitting in the hot tub in the evening with only the sounds of the nearby sheep and birds for company has to be experienced to believe. The only negative point was the mattreses. They were way too soft for our liking. Overall I would definitely recommend this property for a break from the hassle ofRead more every day life. Hide

A lovely property in a beautiful and peaceful location. Very nice and welcoming owner. The sunroom was a great place to sit and watch the views, as well as read a book or two. A bonus that it was a bungalow, and my husband loved managing the wood-fired hot tub!

This was our second stay and we loved every minute of it. We didn't want to come home. The owners had the hot tub already for our arrival and after a day out at our request. Although they are close by they don't bother you but are at the end of the phone if needed. I would highly recommend staying here, location is great just 20 mins from York and Read morejust over an hour to Whitby and Scarborough. Hide
