Take a look at this impressive property set at the heart of a tranquil Yorkshire Dales village and start planning an unforgettable stay for your party of six. Ideal for couples, families and friends reacquainted, your accommodation is effortlessly stylish yet completely comfortable for burrowing under a blanket with a mug of hot cocoa clasped in your palms. By day, your surroundings are your playground with miles of glorious countryside to peruse and pretty towns and villages to discover.

The attractive exterior gives way to an impressive entrance hall where you can cast aside your muddy boots after your day’s adventures. Bright and spacious with subtle lighting, timber beams and heaps of personality, the open-plan lounge/diner is a hub of activity on cosy afternoons. Dived by an exposed stone wall with a TV embedded at its centre, the overall effect is an eclectic blend of contemporary convenience and period charm, as also demonstrated by the attractive combination of artistic furniture, elegant lighting and parquet flooring. Uncork a bottle of wine and snuggle up to watch your favourite films, dipping into a bowl of buttery popcorn, or take up residence at the vast dining table for card games and chatter. You’ll have ample seating for eight to linger over candlelit meals, savouring every mouthful.

The kitchen is undeniably chic with its high ceilings, stylish cabinetry and a marvellous array of appliances including an electric double oven, induction hob, microwave, wine fridge, fridge/freezer and a dishwasher. Craft your hand-selected items purchased from the nearby towns and villages into delicious meals fit for a feast, perching at the breakfast bar to relax whilst they cook, perhaps even delving into your welcome pack to sample some of the goodies and whet your appetite. Another exposed stone wall makes this exclusive room feel as serene as an art gallery, so it is the perfect spot for creating culinary masterpieces. Alternatively, slip through the back door and sizzle up a storm using the BBQ, settling down to dine alfresco on the balmiest of summer evenings.

The patio garden has tiling underfoot and is bordered by potted plants, all partially enclosed by a short stone wall and a small sweep of shrubbery. The gravelled area beyond offers off-road parking for two cars, and you’ll also discover bike racks for up to six bicycles. In terms of practicality, the utility room is just off from the kitchen and is equipped with a washer/dryer.

A glass-framed stairwell leads upstairs to the three bedrooms on the first floor, all of which boast the comfiest of double beds, beautiful beamed ceilings and soft lighting. Two of the bedrooms have dramatically sloped ceilings, so be sure to mind your head as you retire for the night! You’ll also have the added bonus of a private en-suite shower room in one of the bedrooms, an utter treat for invigorating showers to start the day. Completing this former barn is a lavish bathroom with unusual fixtures of fittings such as a curved bath and a separate shower cubicle complete with interestingly shaped faucets.

Everything was as it was described in the information on the website. Great location to be based, Supermarket in Skipton about 4 miles away and a garage and mini supermarket in Threshfield just near Grassington about 5 miles away. Visited Skipton Basin, canal boat trip and Skipton itself has a good range of shops catering for every need. Local ButcRead morehers in Cracoe. Flawless property. Well equipped and maintained, really clean. Ideal location for walks and close enough to Skipton for shopping etc. A pity that dogs not allowed on moor up to Rylstone Cross.

We had a wonderful Christmas break at Lily Barn. The accommodation is beautiful and very well thought out. The kitchen was well stocked and the living space was perfect. We had some lovely walks from the cottage and really appreciated the information left. Will definitely look to book again in the future

This cottage was spotlessly clean, and had everything you could possibly need for a good holiday; modern, efficient bathrooms and kitchen, even a Wonderboom Bluetooth speaker! Hard to fault, couldn't even really hear the nearby road traffic.

Lovely location and well equipped space for 3 people plus 2 doggies. The kitchen was a joy to cook in due to the fab social layout. Living room was lovely and cosy. Good bus service if you don't want to drive. Bonus that the Angel@Hetton was walking distance as was the Devonshire Inn.

Lovely property, location good, some road noise but not apparent. Enjoyed our stay, very cosy, but disappointed with the standard of cleanliness, basic hygiene standards are an important part for us and they definitely failed here. Having to clean is not part of the holiday. Very tastefully presented and comfortable, nice bedding, plenty of seatingRead more, warm when thermostat adjusted. If the cleaning was addressed and more basic items provided, it would be a 9/10 Hide

Had another lovely stay at Lily Barn, this is a fantastic place beautifully furnished with everything you could wish for. The Barn is very comfortable and is ideally situated for many lovely Yorkshire Towns and Villages and lots of walks, either from the door, a short drive away or further afield. I would highly recommend and hope to be back soon.
