A quaint cottage in the heart of the North York Moors that’s perfect for taking a relaxing break. The house is in a stunning rural setting with the nearest shops and pub around 1 mile away. The charming village of Lealholme is 1.5 miles from the house; from here you can take a scenic walk along the River Esk. You may choose to head to the coast at Whitby (11 miles), where you’ll find a wide variety of shops and restaurants or explore the impressive Mulgrave Estate and castle ruins (8.5 miles).

You’ll enter the property directly into the living area, a cosy space with wooden ceiling beams. Here you’ll find a dining table and chairs for enjoying meals as well as a relaxation area with sofas and a TV. The separate kitchen is well-equipped with modern appliances and plenty of cupboard space. Upstairs, there’s a double and a twin bedroom as well as an airy shower room, all with gable walls. Please be mindful of the low and sloped ceilings in the bedrooms. Wooden furniture and soft furnishings in warm colours create a welcoming, homely feel.

There’s a large, enclosed garden at the front of the house. The patio, equipped with outdoor seating, is ideal for enjoying a mid-morning coffee as you absorb the surrounding scenery.

A washing machine would have been useful also, slight smell of fumes from boiler when the heating was on - need attention, otherwise a lovey, cosy cottage in a beautiful location.
