This is a delightful family-friendly property located in the quiet seaside village of Runswick Bay on the stunning north Yorkshire coast. Children of all ages will enjoy exploring the sandy beach and rockpools, and there’s also a water sports centre offering stand-up paddleboarding and kayaking activities. The village has its own pub and cafe, and further amenities are available at neighbouring Hinderwell, just 1 mile inland. For days out, ever-popular Whitby, 9 miles, has museums, historic attractions and seaside amusements galore.

This is a smart, thoughtfully appointed property. The comfortable living room has an electric fire and bay window, and there’s also a lounge with open fire and French windows leading out to the garden and patio. The contemporary kitchen has a dining table and chairs for easy family meals. On the upper floor there is a double bedroom, a twin room, and a single bedroom. Also on the upper floor is a bright, airy bathroom, and a separate shower room.

To the rear of the property, the large garden has a patio area and children’s play equipment for more outdoor fun after a day at the beach.

Lovely quiet location. Ideal base to explore this area of Yorkshire. The beach is well worth the effort to walk down and we went down every night.

The property location is excellent & great for us with a dog. However we have stayed here before & the internal damp problems have not been addressed, in fact they are worse & evident in every room.
