Located in the peaceful village of Thornton in Craven, on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales and close to the Forest of Bowland National Landscape, the area is rich with places to explore. Well what can i say a super little cottage not far at all from everything you need in skipton, absolutley SPOTLESS which is a worry when staying away from home so to find an unbelievabely clean and new looking cottage was such a welcomed find with no stress, gorgeous touches with extras you would forget in the cupboards and a beautiful handmade cakRead moree and fresh eggs to enjoy, lots of lovely communication so you feel safe and looked after, tucked away down a hilly lane just far enough from main road, parking was easy on the edge of the lane outside the front door no issues could always get the spot outside, lane can be busy at times it must be a short cut to main road so be careful with pets wouldnt recommend off leads, down the very bottom is a long lane to walk but can have cars up and down and is a very steep hill, cottage itself is pet friendly depending on your pets ability and level of activity and if they dont like running off alone or shoot outside if front door is opened onto road and are ok with neighbours having pets in their garden, the garden is beautiful so pretty, planting is lovely but has gaps in plants on one side that pets could get through so if have an active inquisitive pet they would get through or jump the low levels, inside is typical of an old cottage with steep staircase from two rooms with no landing so need to be mindful and be careful if pets runs up so they dont fall, stone floors are easy clean which is helpful, overall a lovely cottage with points to be mindful of with pets or own mobility inside and out :0) Hide

The cottage is eminently suitable for couples touring North Yorkshire / Lancashire. It is a comfortable and relaxing property within easy reach of Skipton, Harrogate and other towns in the area. There are lots of sites to interest visitors within easy reach and return to the comfort of the cottage and easy self-catering amenities. The owners made aRead more very welcome pack. A beautiful 5 days in this cottage cottage, we had everything we needed and Sarah was very helpful, nothing was too much trouble . The cottage has very stylish touches, the bed and sofa are so comfortable so we could totally relax. There is a very pretty garden, with a bench and cushions available to enjoy the freshair. Eglantine is the sweetest cottage with generous space and absolutely everything we needed. The courtyard garden is beautiful and perfect place for a cuppa and a book!
