An enticing retreat, this delightful cottage is tucked away in Robin Hood’s Bay’s older quarter. Sleeping four guests, the two-bedroom retreat is only 150 metres from the beach, where you can paddle, potter in rock pools and look for fossils. Head out on long walks along this stretch of the North Yorkshire Heritage Coast or find inland footpaths to take you across the moors. Dine out in the cafes and pubs of the former fishing village or have a day out to Whitby, 5.5 miles away, where there is a wider selection of eateries, as well as galleries, boutiques and shops selling locally produced fresh food items. Also enjoy the many seaside attractions of Whitby and visit its famous abbey.
Cross the courtyard to enter this welcoming holiday cottage. Head through to the kitchen/diner to make a cup of tea and unpack your locally bought provisions. Whip up tasty meals in here to enjoy at the breakfast bar. Wander through to the lounge to watch TV together on cosy nights in. The family bathroom is also downstairs. Head up to the first floor to find a double bedroom, with TV/DVD, and a single room, with pull-out single bed underneath, TV and en-suite shower in alcove.
There is no outside space with this cottage, but the beach is quick to reach when you wish to relax out in the fresh air.
