Gateway to the Yorkshire Dales, Skipton is popular year-round, thanks to its 900-year-old castle, romantic priory ruins, weekly market and cobbled High Street. A thriving centre for trade since Saxon times, the town’s economy was further boosted in the 1700s by the opening of the Leeds to Liverpool Canal, Britain’s longest inland waterway. cosy cottage with two bedrooms on a quaint cobbled street in the centre of Skipton, an ideal base for walking in the Dales and a perfect location near the pubs, restaurants and other amenities

Craven cottage was perfect for our holiday in Skipton, The cottage was very well located for Skipton town centre, it was well equipped, immaculately clean and the beds were very comfortable, we have family nearby and plan to visit Skipton 3/4 times per year, we will be booking this property again if it is available when we visit.

Excellent location especially if you don't have a car. Station 10 minutes walk away. High Street only a few metres away.

Such a nice place. Perfect location. Everything in skipton is within walking distance. The cottage was extremely comfortable. I would most definitely stay here again.
