See the astounding waterfalls of West Burton, Cauldron Falls and Cotter Force, all within 15 miles of this retreat. Discover Richmond’s independent shops, pubs, galleries and eateries (13.5 miles); it’s one of Britain’s most vibrant and beautiful market towns, and the gateway to Swaledale. Leyburn (5 miles) is a lovely old town at the heart of Wensleydale, with quirky shops and a Friday market.

Inside the cottage you’ll find cosy rural charm. Gather on sofas in the wide lounge around a flickering wood burner, and watch the TV or a DVD.
