Generous bedrooms and lots of bathrooms ensure everyone has their own space too. The superb location of this home cannot be underestimated. This beautiful converted church hall is just metres from the very bottom of the bay, just around the corner from the fantastic cafes, bistros and shops, sitting at the end of an alley in a quiet and peaceful spot.

The third bedroom is the family room with its fun elevated single beds either side of the main bed: ideal if you want to put the kids in together or if parents want to share with their little ones. Once a smuggling gateway, Robin Hood's Bay now basks in a sedate pace of life, making it a popular spot for those seeking peace and tranquility. Meander the cobbled streets, enjoy a taste of Yorkshire life at one of the eateries or traditional British pubs, and explore the rock pools. Outdoor lovers will find many stunning coastal and country walks, cycle paths and bridleways on the doorstep within the North York Moors National Park, some boasting dramatic clifftop views. For a more traditional day at the beach, head to nearby Scarborough (16.5 miles) – the original seaside resort – and enjoy the amusement arcades, ice cream parlours, and even a water park. You could even make friends with the penguins at Scarborough's Sea Life Sanctuary!

Amazing accommodation with just about every kitchen gadget imaginable, and so well equipped. We went in a family group of 10 with 3 small children, and there was so much space for them to play in the big open plan downstairs area. Simon was in residence in to annex and he was so helpful. Best fish and chips over the road. Just a great stay.

You couldn't find a better location anywhere, the cottage is right at the bottom of the bay in the heart of things. My family group of brother, sister, son, daughter and grandchildren all enjoyed themselves and can't wait to return. Simon couldn't have been more helpful even turning my car round for me in the very tight unloading bay!!
