Enjoyed the stay. The pub has now reopened next door and was always full of regulars. Only real negative is you are on a main road but in five minutes you can walk you dog on a side road and in fifteen minutes you are on the Six Dales Trail

Last minute booking so not much choice. Interior gorgeous and clean but we were chilly most of time. Couldnt get heating over 16.5 degrees, never felt cosey.was chilly when walked in .Lack of shower nuisance as hand shower difficult to use without making mess. Disappointed by location on busy road Read morewhich could hear all time, joined to a pub which is not clear when booking. No outside space at all, one of three flats in very close proximity. We prefer own space. Fine for weekend but wouldnt want stay longer.

A beautiful cosy cottage with everything you could possibly need, a real home from home. You are surrounded by breathtaking views yet only 5 minutes from the local village Pateley Bridge. The cottage, one of three, has its own dedicated parking bay and adjoining the property is a cosy pub and restaurant. For those taking a dog, as we did, just a fRead moreew points worth mentioning. Firstly, dogs are not allowed upstairs, however there are no doors to prevent this. The majority of the carpets are lovely and thick and cream, so muddy paws is a no no (the kitchen also has carpet but darker). When you venture into the great outdoors then your pooch will need to go too, you are not to leave him/her behind, why would you, it's their holiday too. And lastly, no dogs on the furniture please. All in all a lovely week's stay away from the hustle and bustle of our usual surroundings. ? Hide

The same comments as have been made by several other people.1 It would be easy to make the entrance slightly more "walker" friendly. Take away the unnecessary wall clock and put up some hooks and a place for boots.2 Not ideal for dogs, having to cross the road etc,3 The decor more suited to Cheshire wives than a wet walking holidayBut all in all aRead more lovely place to stay Hide

Blossom cottage is beautifully presented and we enjoyed our visit and would stay again. Our only quibble was that there is no shower which was a strange omission. Nearby Pateley Bridge is a lovely town and of course the surrounding countryside is fabulous.
