Traditional brick cottage sleeping 4 guests comfortably, located in the lovely village of Fangfoss in the beautiful Yorkshire Wolds, situated just eleven miles from the historic city of York.

These charming cottages are tucked away down a private lane from the peaceful village on the owner’s farm. Perfectly located between York and the Yorkshire Coast there's plenty to explore. The surrounding Yorkshire Wolds scenery is breath taking with rolling chalk hills perfect for picnics, walkers and cyclists. Only 10 miles from the historic city of York where attractions such as York Dungeons, Jorvik Viking centre, National Railway museum,  the quaint Shambles shopping area, river cruises and much more to keep the whole family entertained.

This cottage is bursting with character, featuring stone flooring, exposed beams and quirky handcrafted features throughout. The cottage is all on ground level and offers an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The lounge has a comfy sofa, two comfortable chairs and a TV/DVD for those lazy evenings in watching a good film. The kitchen area benefits from an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. The solid dining table is a great spot to enjoy dinner with loved ones or plan your next adventures. There are two bedrooms, the first master suite features a king-size bed with TV/DVD and a beautiful en-suite bathroom with separate WC. The second twin bedroom can be made in to a super-king-size upon request, and benefits from an en-suite shower room and WC.

Guests can make use of the fun-filled shared games room, complete with 7’ pool/snooker table, air hockey, football table and full-size table tennis. There are also a few bikes available to borrow if you want to explore the local area on two wheels. For little ones, the playground can be found just a stroll away.

Outside, there is a courtyard with garden furniture and a BBQ, just perfect for those warm summer evenings. There is ample under-cover parking available.
