Beautifully renovated to provide a memorable holiday for all of the family, this stylish cottage enjoys a wonderful location right in the heart of the spa town of Ilkley.

Tucked away in the centre of Ilkley, an old spa town that’s brimming with eclectic shops, quality restaurants and famous cafes, this stunning terraced cottage offers a fantastic space for a family of eight to stay.

Offering you the unique chance to leave your car behind, the many attractions of this wonderful town can be accessed just a short distance from home. Spend an evening in the independent cinema or quality local theatre – both locations can be found at the very end of the street. Set off for an afternoon on the water along the River Wharfe, a picnic in the sunshine at Ilkley’s Riverside Gardens or a scenery-spotting hike atop Ilkley Moor.

Step inside this pretty property to be instantly met by a stylish open-plan lounge/diner. This on-trend space features a stylishly paired back decor with a low-key colour scheme and a carefully considered layout. The L-shape of the generous room ensures that all eight guests have an abundance of space to unwind, whether you’re engaging in activities or board games at the dining table or sinking into cushy sofas late at night.

The living room portion of the open-plan living space is kept cosy thanks to a warm and welcoming wood burner – a real delight when staying throughout the winter months. Throw a log or two on the wood burner and collapse into a comfy seating spot, perhaps switching on the Smart TV for a chance to watch a family favourite film. You can also make full use of the Bluetooth speaker right here, perfect for filling the room with everyone’s favourite sounds.

Your playlist can also be heard in the dining room, just moments from the sofas and armchairs of the lounge. Here you’ll find a sprawling oak dining table with plenty of space for eight to sit around, and a stunning feature art piece on the wall. Get children’s arts and crafts activities out on a rainy day or sit down to a celebratory meal together late at night.

Utility meets style as you step through into the glamorous kitchen, just next door. Featuring pretty fittings and intricate Art Deco-inspired tiles, this quality kitchen offers a wonderful space for your budding chef to try out a challenging recipe or two. The kitchen is complete with a breakfast island which offers extra workspace, a great spot for packing up a picnic or a handy little zone for early morning coffee as late risers awaken. Whilst the necessary appliances, including an electric oven, hob and fridge/freezer are on hand, the room also boasts luxury touches including a dishwasher, wine cooler and tumble dryer for staying fresh whilst on your travels.

The property boasts four equally inviting bedrooms laid out across the first and second floors. Each one of these bedrooms is lovingly presented with its very own Smart TV, ideal for putting children to bed with their favourite film on or enjoying a lazy morning and breakfast in bed whilst catching up on current affairs.

A single staircase leads to the first floor where you’ll find a super-king-size zip-and-link bedroom and a king-size bedroom. The former of the two is a truly versatile space for those travelling as a couple or as a pair. Simply alert the owners to the desired set-up ahead of arriving at the property.

A second zip-and-link super-king-size bedroom can be found at the top of the house, upstairs on the second floor. Alongside this room, you’ll find a twin bedroom with fresh linens and soft furnishings, perfect for that unrivalled night’s sleep.

Discover a stylishly appointed bathroom on both the first and the second floors, making getting ready a doddle first thing. Each of these bathrooms features a clean interior with fresh white tiles and chrome accessories.

Step outside to the rear of the property and prepare to while away sunny afternoons and evenings. This reverse courtyard is an enclosed space, ideal for those travelling with pets or young children. Sink into your very own private hot tub or fire up the BBQ for an evening of good food and even better company. Alternatively, if a BBQ party isn’t on the cards, simply step out and enjoy your evening meal alfresco.

We had an amazing holiday as Coachway cottage! This is a little tardis of a house as it looks small from the outside, has a comfy dining room/lounge as you step inside and then really opens up with 2 double bedrooms on each of the floors plus bathroom. As a 4 adult, 1 baby and 1 dog family this worked perfectly for us and the house was so quiet youRead more forget you are 3 houses off the main street in Ilkley. Property bigger than the pictures look. Hot tub is huge for 7 people. Great location Could have lived in this house, really well looked after and very comfortable. Downsides were parking, you only get one space and the pay and display is 10 per day. Loo roll was missing Overall great house, owners lovely and helpful.
