Beautifully renovated to provide a memorable holiday for all of the family, this stylish cottage enjoys a wonderful location right in the heart of the spa town of Ilkley.

The cottage is tucked away in the centre of Ilkley, an old spa town brimming with shops, restaurants, and renowned cafes. For anyone wanting to watch a play or a movie, take a short stroll to either end of the street where you will find the cinema or popular Playhouse. Venture up into the moors to discover a carefully landscaped Victorian scene including two semi-artificial lakes, ideal for water sports, and the River Wharfe. The ideal base for walkers and cyclists, Ilkley is the starting point of the 84-mile-long 'Dales Way' walk, a stunning trail through the Yorkshire Dales National Park. For family days out, visit the priory ruins at nearby Bolton Abbey and take a tide on the Embsay and Bolton Abbey Steam Railway, or explore the national children's museum, Eureka!

As you enter this contemporary property, you are instantly greeted by a stylish open-plan lounge/diner. Take a moment to appreciate the carefully considered design and decor, kick off your walking boots and relax in front of the wood burner on one of the comfortable sofas. A large oak dining table provides the ideal place for all the family to gather around and enjoy a homecooked meal to celebrate a special occasion. Move through to the kitchen, well-equipped with everything you could need, including an electric oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer and even a wine cooler. Sit at the breakfast bar in the morning and enjoy a cup of coffee before your day ahead. On the first floor are two generously sized bedrooms; one super-king zip-and-link (which can be made up as twins on request) and one king-size. There is also a shower room with a shower and WC. Up a final set of stairs you will find the remaining two bedrooms; one super-king-size zip-and-link (which can be made up as twins on request) and one twin, both equally as comfortable and beautiful in design. To complete the accommodation is a bright and spacious bathroom with a shower over the bath and WC.

Heading out to the rear of the property you will find an enclosed courtyard furnished with a table and chairs so you can dine alfresco. Enjoy a BBQ on a summer's evening or relax in the hot tub where you can lay back and unwind. A permit is provided for one car to park roadside on a first-come-first-served basis. There is further chargeable parking nearby and a bike rack for secure bicycle storage in the courtyard. This property has a private water supply.

Property bigger than the pictures look. Hot tub is huge for 7 people. Great location Could have lived in this house, really well looked after and very comfortable. Downsides were parking, you only get one space and the pay and display is 10 per day. Loo roll was missing Overall great house, owners lovely and helpful. With a varied landscape of windswept dales, heather-clad moors and dramatic coast, interspersed with picturesque towns and villages, vibrant cities and a rich historical heritage, Yorkshire is rightly considered one of Britain's premier holiday destinations. Known as 'God's Own County', Yorkshire has nearly one-third of England's National Parkland, two Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty and three sections of coastline designated as Heritage Coast.

Offering infinite opportunities for lovers of the great outdoors, the wild expanse of the Yorkshire Dales National Park in North and West Yorkshire is a glorious mix of awe-inspiring scenery, imposing castles, characterful Dales' villages and drystone walls. While to the east, the North York Moors National Park offers atmospheric moorland, fragrant pine forests and charming towns tucked away within steep-sloped valleys. Extending all the way to the Yorkshire Coast, you can even experience a traditional day at the seaside at popular resorts including Whitby, Flamborough and Scarborough. It's a beautiful terrain to explore.

A visit to the historical city of York is a must. Renowned for its medieval architecture, the magnificent York Minster and a myriad of museums, independent shops and exceptional eateries, you will not be disappointed. Then there's the chalk landscape of the Yorkshire Wolds, known to have inspired David Hockney. And with a packed calendar of events and festivals each year, including the Malton Food Festival, the Tour de Yorkshire and the Great Yorkshire Show, there's always something exciting to enjoy.

Our holiday cottages in Yorkshire are handpicked to ensure a luxurious and uniquely memorable experience. From dog-friendly cottages in the country to large family houses by the sea and romantic retreats in the city, we have a holiday in Yorkshire to suit everyone.
