For a wonderful holiday to West Yorkshire and the Peaks stay in this retreat perfect for large groups within these converted stables, with a contemporary finish and wonderful open views of the countryside.

A recently converted stable block, this attractive, immaculately presented property is ideal for large groups of family or friends. Sleeping 11 people over six bedrooms, there is plenty of space for everyone to relax in comfort and style, whilst enjoying quality time with loved ones. Situated in a peaceful location 5 miles north of the Peak District National Park and 6 miles west of the market town of Huddersfield, this property is well-placed to offer its guests the best of town and country. Huddersfield is a bustling market town, full of impressive architecture, interesting history and independent shops and eateries, whereas the Peak District’s wild, heather-clad moorland and craggy outcrops make an ideal backdrop for a range of walking trails, to suit all abilities. Closer to home, you could walk the 1 mile to Scammonden Reservoir for a lovely stroll with breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside. At the end of a busy day exploring, you’ll be pleased to head home for a soak in your private hot tub and an evening of stargazing.

This property is stylish and spacious throughout, making it ideal for large groups. Clean lines, contemporary furniture and cool tones create the feeling of a boutique hotel, whilst exposed beams and country-cottage soft furnishings make this home feel comfortable and welcoming.

On entering, you’ll find yourself in the vast lounge, with its corner sofa providing ample seating for everyone in front of the TV. There is also a hall space for everyone to discard their boots and coats. Moving through, you enter the amazing kitchen, which really does have the wow-factor. There is plenty of space for everyone to play their part in cooking, or perhaps you’d prefer to sit at the island and watch with a glass of wine in your hand. The kitchen has all the mod-cons to ensure cooking for everyone is effortless. When your meal is prepared, there is plenty of space around the dining table for everyone. There is also a handy utility room for cleaning muddy kit. Completing the ground floor are two of the beautiful bedrooms, both of which are super-king-size (can be made up as twins on request) and have contemporary en-suite shower rooms. The four remaining bedrooms are on the first floor. All of them are spacious, relaxing and extremely well-presented. There are two en-suite shower rooms and one Jack-and-Jill bathroom which can also be accessed from the hallway.

Outside, there is a wonderful private patio garden to the rear with far-reaching views of valley. Spend your evenings socialising with BBQs, drinks and dips in the hot tub.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
