This stone cottage is a beautiful one-bedroom holiday home in the heart of Coxwold that's ideal for couples and solo travellers alike. We love the chic country-style, open-plan living space and glorious gardens which you can really make the most of in the summer months. Store your coats in the entrance lobby (accessed up a couple of steps) before heading into the heart of the cottage - a large open-plan space which houses the living, dining and kitchen areas. The inviting lounge includes a characterful stone wall with warming open fire and a sumptuously soft leather sofa to sit and relax on. For your entertainment there is a digital radio, large Smart HD TV and Wi-Fi so you can connect to your favourite streaming service - perfect if you want to catch up on a boxset.

The ivory kitchen fits in perfectly with the cottage's country vibe. It's well-designed and equipped with all you need to rustle up something delicious during your short break or holiday. Appliances include a fan oven with grill, induction hob, a fridge with icebox and a very handy slimline dishwasher. Please note: There isn't a washing machine at the property, however the owners can provide a laundry service for a small charge.

Next to the kitchen and completing the open-plan living space is a rustic dining table and country-style chairs - perfect for enjoying a romantic meal for two.

Everything at the cottage is on one level including the bedroom. The king-size bed is a delightful place to enjoy a good night's sleep after a day of walking in the surrounding Yorkshire countryside or shopping in the nearby towns. It's a soothing space with cream walls, a neutral carpet, splashes of warming colour and a seating area where you can relax. T

he modern bathroom features underfloor heating and a P-shaped bath with a dual fittings shower overhead. It's up to you whether you take an indulgent soak or an invigorating shower - robes, slippers and a heated towel rail will keep things nice and toasty for you.
