Explore the surrounding areas on foot, with plenty of countryside to explore, set on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park and is not far from the North Pennines and Nidderdale, both Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty. If you’re feeling active play a game of cricket at Richmondshire Cricket Club. A visit to The Station, a disused railway station, is a perfect way to end a day with tea and cake, there is also a cinema and local gallery.
Head up six steps to the entrance of the property and enter the hallway where you can leave behind your coats and boots. Head through to the lounge and relax after a long day of exploring, watch your favourite movie on the Smart TV/DVD and cosy up in front of the wood burner effect gas fire. If you decide to dine in, you will be well catered for in the kitchen/diner, this room has Velux windows, letting the light pour in during the day, or for stargazing at night. Prepare a meal for everyone in the bright kitchen area, equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Enjoy your meal around the dining table, with views over the garden. Also, on the ground floor is the first of the bedrooms, the king-size. Heading up the narrow cottage-style stairs to the first floor, here you will find the double bedroom and the bathroom with shower over bath and WC.
Venturing outside, you will find a lawn area to the front of the property and an enclosed garden to the rear. Head up two steps to the gravelled area and relax on the garden furniture, enjoy al fresco dining with the gas BBQ or chat into the evening by the warmth of the chiminea. There is roadside parking, subject to availability.
