We had a lovely relaxing break at this quiet and peaceful cottage. The welcome basket was very generous and thoughtful - we especially liked the homemade preserves and raspberry gin and the 'bantam-hen' eggs.

We had a wonderful and very cosy weekend stay tucked up in Gingerlily. The cottage itself is small but perfectly formed, very stylish and we loved the owners attention to detail. It's also very peaceful and with some lovely walks on your doorstep and lots to explore in the surrounding villages and towns. We will definitely be back!

We had a snowy, relaxing long weekend in Gingerlily. The cottage is spotlessly clean, comfortable and cosy, the log burner gives out plenty of heat and is easy to light. The welcome pack was great including wine, beer, gin, bread, cheese, butter and milk. Extras included speciality teas, fresh coffee and even treats for the dogs. The owners werRead moree very accommodating. We would recommend The Star Inn nearby a Michelin Star restaurant for a treat. The walking is great - Hovingham is well worth a visit. We enjoyed our stay so much, we are planning another trip in the summer. Hide
