Nestled within this peaceful rural setting with picturesque views, this delightful cottage welcomes solo adventurers and couples looking to balance exploration and relaxation. Enjoy the charming interiors and uncover the wild surrounds. Perfect for a romantic escape.

Nestled on the southern edge of the Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this contemporary, eco-friendly cottage is the ideal location for a romantic retreat for two. Its rural location allows you to escape the hectic pace of everyday life and immerse yourselves in the tranquillity and breathtaking views. Although the cottage adjoins the owner’s farmhouse, you are assured peace and privacy, so that you can relax and enjoy quality time together. Nidderdale is a stunning dale with gorgeous moorland and lush green fields, so walkers will be spoilt for choice when it comes to choosing a route; many of which will be from your doorstep. Keen cyclists may also enjoy the challenge offered by the rolling hills. The area’s natural beauty is popular with visitors, including attractions such as the National Trust’s Brimham Rocks, but people also visit to enjoy the history of the area, such as the World Heritage Site of Fountain Abbey and Studley Royal Water Garden. After a busy day exploring, head home, slip into your robe and enjoy a soak in your own private hot tub. It’s the perfect location for a spot of stargazing.

Despite its rural setting and traditional exterior, this gorgeous cottage offers contemporary accommodation for the modern traveller. Immaculately presented, its decor is akin to that of an upmarket hotel with its clean lines, cool palette and luxury fittings. However, unlike a hotel room, this property is incredibly spacious, allowing you to relax in comfort and style. It is also completely off-grid, with all its electricity generated by wind and solar.

Downstairs, the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner has plenty of space for two guests. The lounge centres around the wood burner, which adds warmth on cooler evenings, so you can grab some treats and snuggle up on the sofa in front of the TV. The contemporary kitchen is well-equipped with everything you’ll need to cook up romantic meals or lazy breakfasts, whilst modern stools at the island offer somewhere to dine. Several well-placed windows allow light to flood in and create a bright and airy feel.

Upstairs, there is a luxurious bedroom with an impressive four-poster, super-king-size bed and a free-standing bath for two, so you can soothe your aching legs together. The bedroom is very spacious, with large pieces of statement furniture adding to the grandeur. In addition to the bath, there is an en-suite shower room and WC.

Heading outside, you’ll appreciate the unbridled views of the countryside. On your private patio, you’ll find a hot tub and dining furniture, so it’s an ideal spot for sitting back with a glass of wine and soaking up the stunning surroundings. There is off-road parking on site.

Amazing accomodation and hosts(they've pretty much thought of everything), well equipped kitchen, had the most amazing time even when it was hailing outside(jumped in the hot tub)regardless of weather. Very romantic setup. Best to take a car as there's lots to see all within an hour's drive

The cottage was beautiful. The owners are friendly but just leave you alone. The hot tub was the best we have ever used. The cottage has thick walls, triple glazed windows and heated downstairs stone flooring. The living area has a 4k tv with sound bar and the strong broadband connection is excellent. There's a modern wood burner too. Upstairs, theRead more huge bed is extremely luxurious along with the free standing bath and quality bathroom. Everything is finished to a high standard. We will be back! Hide
