This stunning barn conversion on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park has everything you could need for a wonderful break with your friends, family, and four-legged friends. It’s tucked away on a private lane on the owners’ farm sitting among 18 acres of beautiful countryside that you are welcome to explore. The cottage has five king-size bedrooms; three are flexible king/twin rooms, two of which are on the ground floor.
Outside is a large patio, a BBQ and a luxurious hot tub, set against the backdrop of Ingleborough, one of the three mountains on the Yorkshire Three Peaks walking route. It’s perfectly placed for exploring the Dales on foot or by bike, visiting the pretty market town of Settle (12 miles away), and Ingleton village (3 miles), where you’ll find a range of shops and cafes.
Formerly a hay barn, the cottage now provides luxury accommodation with stylish, contemporary interiors complementing the stunning original features. There’s underfloor heating throughout and wooden beams in the gorgeous open-plan sitting/dining room – the perfect space for getting together for early evening drinks, sharing special meals, and relaxing on the comfortable sofas in front of a classic film on the Smart TV with the wood burner roaring.
Next to the dining area is the impressive kitchen with a large island and breakfast bar for a quick bite or a great spot to perch and chat with the chef. It’s filled with light and has a double oven, ideal for group cooking, and is connected to the utility room, which is handy for leaving muddy boots and drying wet paws.
Off the living space is the first king-size/twin bedroom, with an en-suite shower room featuring a walk-in shower. Down three steps, you’ll find the games room where you can enjoy friendly snooker competitions and watch TV, as well as the second king-size/twin bedroom and a shower room. The three other stunning bedrooms are upstairs: one has an en-suite with a walk-in shower, and there’s a bathroom where you can enjoy a revitalising soak in the whirlpool bath.
On balmy days, head outside to the terraced garden to enjoy the sunshine and views from the patio. Get the BBQ going and have dinner alfresco, before relaxing in the bubbling hot tub. Wander through the fields to the river, where you can simply sit and enjoy the incredible setting.
