A contemporary holiday home sitting within a spectacular location within the North York Moors, offering the perfect rural retreat for families looking to explore the surrounding picture-perfect countryside.

A truly gorgeous four-bedroom, four-bathroom luxury holiday home set in a spectacular location in the North York Moors. With its stunning contemporary interiors, spacious accommodation and outdoor hot tub, it's the perfect property for families looking for a luxurious country break.

Step inside to find a double height entrance hall with Smart grey porcelain floors - the perfect place to kick off those walking boots after a hike across the moors. There's also a handy downstairs cloakroom here.

Take a left in the hallway and make your way through a snug area (complete with a cosy leather sofa) into the fabulous open-plan living space. Home to the kitchen, dining room and lounge, it is a beautiful light-filled room designed for families to enjoy together.

In the lounge area the room is dominated by a wow-factor log burning stove set into the wall. Light up the fire and take your pick from the two comfy sofas or the love seat by the patio doors. Enjoy uninterrupted views of the Yorkshire countryside from here. This is a wonderful room to just chill and catch up over a glass of something. And for your evening entertainment a TV with Freeview and built in surround sound is provided. Wi-Fi is available too.

If you always find yourselves gathering in the kitchen at get togethers, this holiday home is perfect for you. This fantastic kitchen features stylish grey touches, range cooker and an island with two wine fridges for those holiday essentials. Pop open a bottle of bubbly pre-dinner and enjoy. A washer/dryer is also available.

The lovely dining area sits beside the kitchen and enjoys those same views from patio doors. A rustic dining table seats up to ten comfortably and is just the place for those laughter-filled family meals.

All of the bedrooms in this luxury North York Moors cottage are upstairs and all come equipped with their own TVs. The generous master bedroom has a king-size bed to stretch out on and a seating area if you want your own space for a bit. It also has a beautiful en-suite bathroom complete with an oval bath and walk-in shower.

The second bedroom has a peaceful lilac theme and features a handsome double sleigh bed and en-suite shower room. The third bedroom is set to the front of the house and has a double bed. Finally, the fourth bedroom is a charming twin room which can also be set up as a super king-size bed if requested. This room also has an en-suite shower room.

The family bathroom sits next door where you'll find a second bath and additional walk-in shower. This means every room in the house has access to their own washing facilities, important when you're sharing with a larger group. And with two baths in the house there's plenty of options for bathing little ones and enjoying your own indulgent soak.

There is much to enjoy outside this gorgeous cottage too. Through the patio doors of the dining room and lounge there is an elegant stone terrace and further lawned garden boasting stunning views of the moorland. It's a heavenly spot on a summer's evening.

And of course, there's the hot tub out here to enjoy whatever the weather. See if you can spot any of the local bird or wildlife; the moors are home to everything from curlews and badgers to pheasants and wild deer.

  • 1 king-size bedroom, 2 double bedrooms, 1 twin bedroom (can be configured as king-size on request)

This holiday cottage is in a stunning location set high up in Rosedale in the North York Moors National Park. The views from the property are fabulous and you can enjoy them from the comfort of your hot tub.

You are surrounded on all sides by the North York Moors, a landscape of gentle rolling hills of heather, ancient woodland and lazy rivers winding through lush green valleys. If you're a keen walker or cyclist, you're in heaven here as it offers some of the most picturesque walking trails and cycling routes across the whole of the UK. The view from on top of Blakey Ridge, just 3 miles’ drive, is in our opinion the finest across the whole of the North York Moors.

Nearby, less than 2 miles away, you'll find the picturesque village of Rosedale Abbey. It features a very sweet village green and several cafes and pubs. Rosedale Abbey is also famously at the centre of five converging lanes taking you off in different directions across the moors.

There are a host of other very pretty villages and towns close by including the picture-postcard Hutton-le-Hole (6 miles) and the vibrant market town of Helmsley (15 miles) with its spa, independent shops, cafes, bars and restaurants.

This property is personally managed by Rupert.

With a varied landscape of windswept dales, heather-clad moors and dramatic coast, interspersed with picturesque towns and villages, vibrant cities and a rich historical heritage, Yorkshire is rightly considered one of Britain's premier holiday destinations. Known as 'God's Own County', Yorkshire has nearly one-third of England's National Parkland, two Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty and three sections of coastline designated as Heritage Coast.

Offering infinite opportunities for lovers of the great outdoors, the wild expanse of the Yorkshire Dales National Park in North and West Yorkshire is a glorious mix of awe-inspiring scenery, imposing castles, characterful Dales' villages and drystone walls. While to the east, the North York Moors National Park offers atmospheric moorland, fragrant pine forests and charming towns tucked away within steep-sloped valleys. Extending all the way to the Yorkshire Coast, you can even experience a traditional day at the seaside at popular resorts including Whitby, Flamborough and Scarborough. It's a beautiful terrain to explore.

A visit to the historical city of York is a must. Renowned for its medieval architecture, the magnificent York Minster and a myriad of museums, independent shops and exceptional eateries, you will not be disappointed. Then there's the chalk landscape of the Yorkshire Wolds, known to have inspired David Hockney. And with a packed calendar of events and festivals each year, including the Malton Food Festival, the Tour de Yorkshire and the Great Yorkshire Show, there's always something exciting to enjoy.

Our holiday cottages in Yorkshire are handpicked to ensure a luxurious and uniquely memorable experience. From dog-friendly cottages in the country to large family houses by the sea and romantic retreats in the city, we have a holiday in Yorkshire to suit everyone.
