Ideally located in the pretty village of Great Broughton, on the outskirts on the North York National Park, ideal for family or friends looking to explore the wonderful North Yorkshire countryside and coastline.

Located in the idyllic, peaceful village of Great Broughton is Holly Cottage, surrounded by fabulous countryside. It is perfect for walkers, cyclists and ramblers, there are many established walks and public footpaths that lead right through the village along the banks of Broughton Beck and then further along the River Leven towards Stokesley, considered the footsteps to the North Yorkshire Moors.

Situated on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park, Cleveland Hills and the Wainstones, which is a rocky outcrop that is very popular with climbers and definitely worth a visit whatever time of year. There are various local pubs and restaurants, as well as a well-maintained children’s playground which are all on the doorstep.

Within minutes is the market town of Stokesley with a traditional high street packed with good quality pubs and restaurants, as well as gift shops, antiques rooms and leisure centre with swimming pool. Within close proximity to guests is Helmsley, Guisborough, Northallerton and Yarm. Local attractions include nearby Great Ayton, many National Trust properties and sites, Captain Cook’s Monument and Roseberry Topping. The coast is approximately 45 minutes to reach some of North Yorkshire’s fabulous beaches and coastline.

Enter the property from the street, and into the hallway where there are stairs in front rising to the first floor. On the ground floor, to the right is the bright open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, the lounge area has comfy seating surrounding the wood burner and a Smart TV with Netflix, the perfect setting to relax after a busy day exploring. The kitchen is equipped ready for the chef of the group, with an electric oven and hob, fridge, freezer and a handy dishwasher. Once the meal is cooked head over to the dining area where you can comfortably seat four. Head up the stairs to the first floor and you will find the twin bedroom with a Smart TV with Netflix and the bathroom with a bath and WC. Then finally heading up another set of stairs, to the second floor which has a king-size bedroom with Smart TV with Netflix.


There is no outside space with this property due to the location, however there is roadside parking.
