The picturesque and idyllic village of Abberley is in rural West Worcestershire situated within the Malvern Hills District. The local shop is located 2 miles from the lodge and there are two local, country pubs with the closest being 1 mile away. The famous Worcestershire Way footpath runs right through this site. Explore the route to the Georgian town of Bewdley (9 miles) or end up in the Victorian spa town of Great Malvern (18 miles), crossing over the River Teme and Ankerdine Hill along the way. Enjoy the sunset from the top of Abberley Hill, walk through the city streets of Worcester (13.5 miles) steeped in history or place your bets whilst cheering on your favourite horse at the racecourse.

Throw open the sliding doors and enter the open-plan living area of this scenic lodge which provides a stylish space for complete relaxation. The windows span the whole of the living space which features a modern kitchen to cook up breakfast on lazy mornings and a sinkable sofa to enjoy a mid-afternoon coffee whilst taking in the breathtaking views. Open or close the blinds from the comfort of the king-size bed and enjoy the unbroken landscapes, ideal for relaxing mornings and early nights. Enjoy refreshing with the giant shower in the contemporary bathroom.

This lodge is set on a beautiful farm in a wild meadow, and fits perfectly into the landscape with its grass roof and cedar cladding. Walk down the path and on to the large, decked terrace. With a varied landscape of windswept dales, heather-clad moors and dramatic coast, interspersed with picturesque towns and villages, vibrant cities and a rich historical heritage, Yorkshire is rightly considered one of Britain's premier holiday destinations. Known as 'God's Own County', Yorkshire has nearly one-third of England's National Parkland, two Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty and three sections of coastline designated as Heritage Coast.

Offering infinite opportunities for lovers of the great outdoors, the wild expanse of the Yorkshire Dales National Park in North and West Yorkshire is a glorious mix of awe-inspiring scenery, imposing castles, characterful Dales' villages and drystone walls. While to the east, the North York Moors National Park offers atmospheric moorland, fragrant pine forests and charming towns tucked away within steep-sloped valleys. Extending all the way to the Yorkshire Coast, you can even experience a traditional day at the seaside at popular resorts including Whitby, Flamborough and Scarborough. It's a beautiful terrain to explore.

A visit to the historical city of York is a must. Renowned for its medieval architecture, the magnificent York Minster and a myriad of museums, independent shops and exceptional eateries, you will not be disappointed. Then there's the chalk landscape of the Yorkshire Wolds, known to have inspired David Hockney. And with a packed calendar of events and festivals each year, including the Malton Food Festival, the Tour de Yorkshire and the Great Yorkshire Show, there's always something exciting to enjoy.

Our holiday cottages in Yorkshire are handpicked to ensure a luxurious and uniquely memorable experience. From dog-friendly cottages in the country to large family houses by the sea and romantic retreats in the city, we have a holiday in Yorkshire to suit everyone.
