You can also enjoy gorgeous views of the peaceful countryside setting too.
Step inside to find an open-plan living space home to the living room and dining area. At the heart of the room is a wood burner, ready and waiting for you each evening after a day's walking or sightseeing. Light the fire and settle down on one of two comfy sofas: it's time to relax. For your evening entertainment you'll find a Freeview TV with DVD Player and a good selection of DVDs. Wi-Fi is provided as well as a choice of games and books for offline fun.
This room leads into the kitchen at the rear of the cottage. Featuring pale grey shaker-style units you'll find everything you'll need to rustle up dinner. All the normal mod cons are provided including a dishwasher, fridge with ice-box and a downstairs toilet and washroom.
One of the things we love about this cottage is the serving hatch from the kitchen through into the living room. It's one of those little quirky touches that give the cottage its cosy appeal.
The dining table sits in the main living area, a lovely spot for eating whatever the time of day and there's plenty of room for up to four people. Pick up your ingredients at the award-winning farm shop and deli, around 3.5 miles away, and settle down to a feast of Yorkshire's finest produce.
There are two bedrooms in this pretty cottage, the first of which can be found downstairs. This sweet twin room comes complete with two full size single beds. Make your way upstairs to find the beautiful master bedroom boasting a king-size bed. Double aspect windows here afford stunning countryside views of rolling fields to the east and across the village church to distant fells to the west.
The family bathroom is also upstairs and sits opposite the master bedroom. There's a fabulous free-standing bath to sink into each evening, and a walk-in shower for the morning.
Outside the cottage you'll find a compact lawned garden to the front surrounded by a stone wall. To the rear is a decked area with a bistro table and chairs which looks out across the fields; the perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee with the sun on your face.
