Tucked away in a secluded spot in the corner of the North York Moors National Park, this exquisite property is the perfect rural retreat for families and couples. Surrounded by miles and miles of unbridled natural beauty and with the rugged, Yorkshire coastline within 12 miles, this property really does offer guests the very best of coast and country. Outdoor enthusiasts will be spoilt for choice when it comes to choosing a walking or cycling route, with plenty of walks from your doorstep and the Moor-to-Sea cycle network passing close by. The Woodland Trust’s Wykeham Forest is near to the property and is a well-known breeding ground for Honey Buzzards and Goshawks, so you could also venture up to nearby Raptor’s Viewpoint to catch a glimpse of these magnificent birds. Wykeham Lakes provides another lovely location for walks as well as a range of water-based activities. If you’re visiting with children, there are a host of attractions in the area, which everyone will love. Or perhaps you’d prefer a leisurely stroll around the independent shops and eateries of local towns such as Pickering, Scarborough or Filey.

The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you’ll need to cater for you and your guests, with enough seating around the table for everyone.

Moving through into the lounge, you’ll appreciate the impressive size of the room. Vaulted ceilings add height, whilst large windows bring the outside in, adding to the sense of space. Exposed stone and brick walls add character, whilst comfortable sofas offer somewhere to snuggle down of an evening in front of the wood burner. Completing the ground floor is a relaxing super-king zip-and-link bedroom with an en-suite bathroom with a shower over the bath.

From the lounge, head upstairs to the second delightful bedroom: a spacious king-size room with an en-suite bathroom with a shower over the bath.

Outside, guests have their own veranda for al fresco eating, morning coffees and evening drinks, with views of the garden and pond. There are two other properties at this location, and all guests are welcome to wander around the enclosed orchard and explore the mature, well-kept gardens. There is off-road parking for two cars and bike storage is available.
