Take a lovely escape to the great outdoors, situated on the owner's working farm in rural Yorkshire, offering it’s guests private picturesque views across fields and farmland. An ideal base for walkers and cyclist or just to spend time with loved ones.

Located on the edge of Nidderdale AONB, this farmhouse boasts everything you would want from a rural holiday stay with gorgeous views and rolling countryside in every direction. Bishop Thornton is a small village offering a local pub serving traditional meals. Also on the doorstep of The Yorkshire Dales National Park, you are spoilt for choice of places to visit by foot, two-wheels or by car. Although in a tranquil setting, the property is ideally situated for visiting a range of fantastic historical attractions including Fountains Abbey, Newby Hall, Ripley Castle and Studley Royal. Ripon itself is a North Yorkshire gem, balancing a rich cultural heritage with exciting contemporary living, with its imposing cathedral, fascinating museums and a bustling market square.

Newly renovated for 2021 farmhouse, set in the owners' livestock farm. Step inside the entrance hall and instantly feel at home with the cosy country-style theme with a relaxed flow throughout the space, enabling guests to chat, relax and entertain at ease. It is an ideal space for family get-togethers or spending special time with friends. The property is extremely well presented striking a perfect balance between old and new, comfortable and contemporary. The lounge is the perfect place to sit and unwind after a long day of exploring with the comfy sofas and armchairs, stoke the wood burner and watch a movie on the Smart TV. Head through to the large and fully equipped kitchen affording beautiful views of the garden and the countryside beyond, there's is plenty of space to prepare a home-cooked meal if there's more than one chef with an electric Range cooker, fridge, dishwasher and microwave. Take your meal through to the dining room which has a large dining table to gather around with your group. Just off the dining room, you'll find a ground floor shower room with WC. For laundry needs, there is a large utility room off the hallway with a washing machine and tumble dryer, also handy for wet coats and boots. Upstairs to the first floor are three well-appointed bedrooms. Two doubles, one with an en-suite bathroom with shower over bath and WC, and a twin. Completing this floor is a bathroom with shower over bath and WC.

The generous, east-facing garden with its far-reaching views is the place to be all year round! Children and dogs can run free until their hearts' delight while adults relax from the warm embrace of the bubbling hot tub, sheltered by its oak frame. Light a BBQ and dine al-fresco in the warm summer sun. There is a gravelled courtyard in which you can park or alternatively you can leave the cars parked at the front.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
