Helmsley is a picturesque market town situated between Thirsk and Pickering. The property sits proudly as you enter the village a stones-throw from the centre. There are cosy cafes, quaint tea rooms, and a great choice of pubs serving some great food. Helmsley is steeped inhistory and has its own 12th century castle, Rievaulx Abbey and Castle Howard are close by. Helmsley also boasts an outdoor swimming pool, which is open during the summer. For those wishing to explore further by foot - The Cleveland Way starts in Helmsley and North York Moors with their hidden dales and villages are pretty in all seasons. The magnificent City of York is 24 miles south and the scenic east coast is very accessible as is Pickering and the beginning of the famous steam railway line (North Yorkshire Moors Railway).

Step into this quintessential Yorkshire stone cottage crammed with character and comfort, be welcomed into a small hallway, where to hang coats and slip off your shoes. Head into the lounge room where you will spend evenings winding down after a full day exploring the area. Light the wood burner, get comfortable and be in for a night of warmth and relaxation. The kitchen is off the hallway, its bright and airy with a stylish feel, rustle up a meal with the electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, Tassimo coffee machine, dishwasher and washing machine. There are also double doors that lead out to the garden. Completing the ground floor is the first of the themed bedrooms, a double known as "The Hare Room" and a shower room with WC. Head up the stairs to the first floor and you will find the other two themed rooms, "The Stag Room", with a king-size bed and "The Fox Room", with twin beds. Completing the accommodation is the bathroom with shower over bath and WC.

The rear garden is the perfect place to relax with your morning coffee or read a book or on those warm summer nights why not enjoy a BBQ with the family. There is  dining furniture. There is on-street parking on a first come first serve basis.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
