Come together with extended family and friends to enjoy this Grade II listed Georgian townhouse situated in the heart of Richmond.

Take to the streets of historic Richmond and you’ll find this elegant Georgian townhouse, an ideal base for discovering Yorkshire and all its treasures. Embrace the great outdoors and wander through the countryside, step back in time visiting castles and stately homes, and soak up a slice of culture in a charming market town. Offering sumptuous sleeping quarters for up to ten guests, your home away from home is perfect for large groups and families, and there’s even a welcome pack to start your holiday with a treat.

Set across three floors, you’ll step inside to discover simple yet comfortable interiors decorated in moody tones with neutral accents. Conversational artwork and accessories bring the functional spaces to life, something you’ll notice in the attractive dining room with its large table and ample seating. On the nights you don’t feel like cooking you’ll be able to venture into town for a meal in one of the many eateries.

The kitchen carries a sense of French-country chic with its dark worktops, light cabinetry and array of accessories, so you can get cooking after a visit to the nearby shops for the finest artisan breads and local produce. Coffee enthusiasts are well catered for thanks to the sublime Dolce Gusto coffee machine, so why not savour your first cup of the day outside and listen to the early morning hustle and bustle of your surroundings? Your private outside space also features a BBQ for those special summer suppers, and there is external bike storage available as well as laundry facilities.

Ascending the stairs will reveal five bedrooms, all of which offer simple sophistication with snug bedding, useful storage and access to a contemporary shower room. The first floor boasts three bedrooms that come complete with a TV apiece, two of which have their own en-suite facilities and the remainder has sole use of an additional shower room. Take your pick on the second floor of one of two inviting bedrooms, both of which are equipped with a TV for pre-bedtime viewing. Those who choose the double on this floor will be rewarded with en-suite facilities, but the pretty twin room is within easy reach of the shower room.

Off-road parking is available for three cars, and you’ll also find space in one of Richmond’s car parks should you need additional parking.

  • 5 bedrooms - 1 Super-king-size, 2 King and 2 twins
  • Ground floor cloakroom with WC, two first floor bathrooms - one with shower and one with free standing bath and large shower, second floor bathroom with shower and an ensuite with shower

Good location with easy 5 minute walk to market square and town facilities. The property is very warm and if I were the owner I would have thermostats fitted to radiators which might significantly reduce the electricity bill.

Lovely stay, catch up with a group of friends (9) great location, plenty room in the property both indoor and outdoors, bonus having bathrooms for each room. We all enjoyed our stay and would certainly return, both property and Richmond worth a visit.

This is a great property in a wonderful location which is a great base for exploring some magnificent scenery. Richmond, with its steep hills, is not for the faint hearted. However, it is home to some great eateries at reasonable prices

Perfect location for a family holiday, a short walk to the centre of Richmond and all the attractions, and a park with a playground. A good location so you are not reliant on driving as there is a lot to see and do in Richmond.
