A haven for walkers and nature-lovers, this property is a Grade II listed stone cottage in the charming Dales village of Aysgarth, set directly opposite the picturesque Aysgarth Falls and the River Ure. The property is named after the soothing sound of the water, which you can hear from the accommodation. Immaculate inside, the cottage combines character features with contemporary additions to provide ample space for up to four guests.
Stunning countryside walks can be found through the village, as well as in the surrounding Wensleydale area, where the views are not to be missed. Foodies will be delighted by the village’s sumptuous pubs, cafes and tearooms – all within a mile’s radius of the property. As you step inside the property, you will discover the elegantly-decorated open-plan living space with delightful character added by a stone wall, wooden shutters and a feature fireplace. Underfloor heating adds to the feeling of comfort. If you are feeling a little more energetic, walking routes lead from your front door along the river.
