The property also sits next to the former Yore Mill, now home to a charming tearoom and craft shop. The village boasts many great options to eat within less than a mile of the property, including popular pubs and cute cafes. If you visit in spring, you can’t leave without a visit to Freeholders’ Wood where bluebells, anemones and primroses will be in full bloom.

I booked this cottage for our Wedding Anniversary as it look the perfect place for a long weekend. We was not disappointed. The week prior to our holiday the owner contacted us and provided further information on the cottage. This was a nice touch! The cottage has been restored to a very high standard with underfloor heating, high-end fixture and fRead moreittings and hamper full of local produce. In addition to the above all the bedsheets, towels, kitchen utensils, and furniture have been very carefully chosen and add that extra feeling of luxury. The owner should be very proud of what they have achieved. The cottage is next door to a very nice cafe called Mill Race Tea Shop which serve lovely hot cheese scones. Also, there are other lovely villages Leyburn, Richmond and Hawes within 8-10 miles. All in all this is a very homely cottage in a great location. Hide
