Find the spectacular Pennine Way on the doorstep of your cosy cabin, surely the inspiration for an early morning hike in the magnificent Yorkshire Dales National Park. Sleeping two guests, it’s the perfect romantic hideaway, ideal for couples who love to be surrounded by the sounds of nature and wildlife. There’s an additional glamping pod on-site so you could opt to book both pods for a reunion with friends or family. You’re within half a mile of the River Aire and the limestone pavements that surround the fascinating Malham Cove, a magnificent setting where you can spot peregrine falcons soaring high above this stunning landscape. And if you’ve been busy hiking and soaking up the breathtaking views, you might have forgotten to shop for essentials, so you’ll be glad to find three friendly pubs close by (0.5 miles) serving delicious regional food and refreshing drinks.

You’re within a mile of Malham Cove, Janet’s Foss, and Gordale Scar, while Malham Tarn is just 2 miles away, and the Forest of Bowland Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is within reach (12 miles). Its a true walkers paradise, where you can enjoy the added bonus of pretty villages, lively market towns and heritage attractions to visit. Discover the vibrant market town of Settle (6.5 miles) where you can tuck into delicious meals and indulgent treats in the local cafes, pubs, and restaurants; shop at the weekly Tuesday market and try real ales in the marketplace inns.

For a fun day trip, hop on the Settle to Carlisle train route and chug your way across spectacular countryside towards the dizzy heights of Ribblehead Viaduct (17 miles); the gateway to Yorkshire’s legendary Three Peaks. The historic town of Skipton (11 miles) is also nearby; visit Skipton Castle and shop for artisan goods and original gifts in the inviting independent shops, where you might even buy a treat for yourself. If you enjoy sports outdoors, then try horse-riding around Conistone (6.5 miles), fishing at Kilnsey Trout Farm (12.5 miles), or freewheeling along the blissful Yorkshire Dales Cycleway, a 130-mile circular route from Skipton (11 miles). Discover the pretty Dales village of Grassington (12 miles), which you may recognise from the TV adaptation of James Herriot’s All Creatures Great and Small. And take a steam train towards 12th-century Bolton Abbey (17.5 miles) where you can enjoy a romantic picnic on the banks of the River Wharfe before crossing the picture-perfect series of stepping-stones over to the site of the majestic abbey ruins.

Excellent well equipped pods in beautifull countryside. Lovely to see the night sky through the pod skylight. Close to pubs and cafe in the village and lovely walking trails. Julie and Simon are excellent hosts and Malham is a lovely village and good base for exploring the area.

My wife and I had a wonderful holiday. The Pod was just perfect for the two of us. Ideally situated in the village. The owners were very helpful and friendly.

Really great place! First time glamping & will definitely revisit. Great location to explore the local area & only a 5 mins walk to Malham Cove. The pods are spotless & have everything we needed for the long weekend.
