Head to this bright holiday home in Sewerby, just 2 miles from Bridlington, and enjoy fabulous, coastal walks, days on the beach and simply relaxing outside in your private garden. Set within the coastal village, with direct access from the back to the clifftops and beach, this single-storey holiday home sleeps four guests and also welcomes a pair of their canine companions.

From the two-bedroom abode, wander down to a friendly, beachfront pub or choose from the many restaurants close by serving fine produce. Embark on hikes along the clifftop path, including to Danes Dyke Nature Reserve, approximately 1 mile away. Selwicks Bay and Flamborough Head, about a 4-mile hike, are also well worth walking out to. A superb golf course, with breath-taking views of the sea, is just 1 mile away.

Delight in a day at the beach at Bridlington South Beach, 2.5 miles away, and explore the town here too. Head to Filey, 12 miles away, home to Glen Gardens, Filey Bird Garden and Animal Park and Filey Brigg Country Park. Have a day out in vibrant Scarborough, 18 miles away.

Open the front door to this welcoming abode and wander through the conservatory to a well-equipped kitchen that comes with everything you will need to enjoy a self-catering holiday with your loved ones. The kitchen has all the appliances you might require to whip up a delicious home-cooked meal when you decide to stay in, perhaps using the fresh seafood you have bought from nearby stalls. There is also a washing machine for you walking and beach wear.

Take your meal into the conservatory and gather around the table to enjoy it. After dinner, take time to relax and choose a movie to watch on the Freeview TV. When it’s time to turn in for the night, make your way to either the comfortable double or inviting twin. Wake up to enjoy a long bath or hot shower in the family bathroom before planning your adventures for the day.

Plan a day trip to Scarborough, 18 miles away, with its gorgeous sandy beaches, cafes and restaurants. Make your way through the historic streets to explore Scarborough Castle or pop into St Mary’s churchyard to visit Anne Bronte’s grave. Enjoy a stroll around the South Cliff area, taking in the famous spa and Italian Gardens. Catch the cliff lift down to the beach and walk around to the peaceful North Bay, visit the renowned Sea Life Centre or explore the beautiful Peasholm Park with its boating lake, woodland walks and oriental influences.

The old railway line which ran from Scarborough to Whitby is now a stunning cycle and walking route and is the perfect choice if you feel like a coastal walk taking in some spectacular scenery. From here, also head into the gorgeous North York Moors.

Somewhat smaller than the Yorkshire Dales, the North York Moors still cover an area of almost 600 square miles and, as in the Dales, you can easily find yourself miles from anywhere relatively quickly. But there is something distinctly more civilised and less remote about the moors. In place of harsh limestone and dramatic peaks, you’ll find gently rolling hills of heather, ancient woodland and lazy rivers winding through lush green valleys. There is a sense of wilderness, particularly on top of the high central moorlands, but it’s cast in comforting soft focus.

Lovely clean comfortable cottage in a lovely quiet location close to Bridlington. Would definately stay again Sewerby cliffs so close and lots of lovely walks around for the dogs

Thank you for an enjoyable time in your cottage.The fact it was a secure garden for our dog gave us peace of mind and made for a more relaxing stay.The location is brilliant good walks in either direction with shops and pub nearby

The bungalow is in an excellent holiday location. You can walk to most places and there are lovely scenic dog walks and places of interest very close by. Sewerby gardens was lovely to visit with the doggies. The bungalow would be great if it had a more thorough clean and wifi would be an excellent addition. Do not rent this cottage until the owner has it thoroughly cleaned and refitted. The kitchen is tiny, as is the fridge, the cupboards are ridiculously high and the step is useless. The bathroom is disgustingly mouldy. No WiFi and TV has no HDMI socket. Bedrooms are too small for the beds to make it sleep 4. The mattresses should have been replaced Read moreyears ago. The garden room is good but no power socket. I will never go there again despite the location. Avoid. Hide

Location wonderful. 2 minutes to the amazing sea view. Fridge freezer in kitchen adequate as freezer section is ok. Equipment ok but then we didnt use oven. Kitchen small but workable. Hot water pressure very poor in kitchen and bathroom but shower fine. Economy 7 heating on and as weather was hot I found heat unbearable. Told not to switch off. BeRead moredrooms small and cramped. Couldnt use wardrobe in twin room. Barely room to get round double bed. Twin beds very uncomfortable. Hide

Overall we had a lovely week in the bungalow. The conservatory and bedrooms are a little dated but it was comfortable. It felt a bit like we had come to stay at an elderly relatives home. The location is great and within walking distance of Sewaby Hall and Briddlington centre.

Good location close to beach. Plenty of traffic free walks for dogs Close to theatre, garden walks, model village and dog friendly pub//restaurants. Nice cottage, private garden, of road parking. Great weeks holiday.

Lovely cottage , great location on the north cliff with easy access and close walks on the beach , lovely enclosed garden for the dogs and off road parking , I think Wi-Fi might be a good addition , we had a lovely week, saw puffins and Albert the albertros at bempton cliffs

Very Uncomfortable beds - need replacing. Kitchen requires updating and new utensils, tiny fridge. No power to shower, mould in shower which needed a good clean. No WIFI. Dated Dvds available. However beautiful garden, and location great. However difficult to appreciate with a very bad nights sleep for everyone.

Great location and garden. However all crockery, cutlery, cafitere, and most other kitchen equipment in desperate need of replacement. Cutlery drawer dirty and broken ornaments on display. Needs new clothes airer and ironing board cover. Also, shower needs updated. Basically, a trip to Ikea or similar wouldnt go amiss.

Cottage is in an ideal location with walks from the door. Inside it was a little dated & there were a few cobwebs in the bathroom and bedrooms & the cups & crockery could do with updating, but overall a pleasant stay.
