An outstanding property set in the beautiful area of Nidderdale, which is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. With plenty of surrounding countryside for you to explore and cycle routes to ride along. This is the perfect property for walkers, cyclists and nature lovers. This fabulous lodge offers the best of both worlds, with breath-taking Yorkshire Dales' scenery and the cosmopolitan spa town of Harrogate just a short drive away.

Built 2020, this contemporary lodge is tucked away on a secluded hillside in the southern Yorkshire Dales, offering the comfort of a luxury holiday, with all the cosiness and warmth of a log cabin escape on a grander scale. On the ground floor you’ll find a spacious, open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. A wood burner keeps everything nice and toasty, while floor to ceiling windows offer uninterrupted views of the surrounding countryside. The lounge features two comfortable sofas to curl up on and entertainment is provided by the TV. The kitchen is located to the rear of this area. Its elegant units are well stocked with all the equipment you’ll need to rustle up and serve a family dinner, including an electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher. A washing machine and tumble dryer are also available in the utility area on the landing, handy if you have walking clothes to wash and dry off. The dining table sits by the wood burner, a delight on colder mornings when you can enjoy a long lazy breakfast by the fire. The table seats everyone comfortably, so plenty of room for the whole family. There are three bedrooms, two of which are on the ground floor. In the first bedroom you’ll find a lovely, wooden king-size bed and double aspect windows letting in lots of light. Next door is the second bedroom, a twin, perfect for little ones. Both bedrooms share a ground floor shower room with walk-in shower and WC. Make your way up the bespoke wooden staircase to find the stunning first floor master bedroom with a super-king-size bed and access to a private glass balcony. Snuggle up on the chair here at dusk and see if you can spot any of the local wildlife. The bathroom is set just across the landing, this room boasts a freestanding bath, separate walk-in shower and WC.

Doors from the open-plan space leading directly out onto the wooden deck to the front of the lodge. With elegant garden furniture, it’s the perfect spot for a sun downer, with blankets provided to keep you snug as the sun sets and the bubbling hot tub is also here ready and waiting for you. Beyond the deck explore the acres of grounds the lodge is set within, discover the stream and pack horse bridge. There are also sheep and cows roaming freely which graze in the adjoining fields. There is off-road parking available for up to three cars. Please note that the grounds of the lodge include a pond and children must be supervised at all times in and around the property.

For larger groups, there is an identical second lodge  - also sleeping 6 in 3 beautiful bedrooms available nearby. The second lodge has its own large, outdoor grounds and plenty of space between for each property to enjoy it's own privacy. Please enquire if you would like to check availability to book both properties at the same time .

With a varied landscape of windswept dales, heather-clad moors and dramatic coast, interspersed with picturesque towns and villages, vibrant cities and a rich historical heritage, Yorkshire is rightly considered one of Britain's premier holiday destinations. Known as 'God's Own County', Yorkshire has nearly one-third of England's National Parkland, two Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty and three sections of coastline designated as Heritage Coast.

Offering infinite opportunities for lovers of the great outdoors, the wild expanse of the Yorkshire Dales National Park in North and West Yorkshire is a glorious mix of awe-inspiring scenery, imposing castles, characterful Dales' villages and drystone walls. While to the east, the North York Moors National Park offers atmospheric moorland, fragrant pine forests and charming towns tucked away within steep-sloped valleys. Extending all the way to the Yorkshire Coast, you can even experience a traditional day at the seaside at popular resorts including Whitby, Flamborough and Scarborough. It's a beautiful terrain to explore.

A visit to the historical city of York is a must. Renowned for its medieval architecture, the magnificent York Minster and a myriad of museums, independent shops and exceptional eateries, you will not be disappointed. Then there's the chalk landscape of the Yorkshire Wolds, known to have inspired David Hockney. And with a packed calendar of events and festivals each year, including the Malton Food Festival, the Tour de Yorkshire and the Great Yorkshire Show, there's always something exciting to enjoy.

Our holiday cottages in Yorkshire are handpicked to ensure a luxurious and uniquely memorable experience. From dog-friendly cottages in the country to large family houses by the sea and romantic retreats in the city, we have a holiday in Yorkshire to suit everyone.
