Barn End is very comfortable and well equipped. If you like walking the location is superb, many walks straight from the door. The gallery is nice and light, a comfortable place to sit and read if the weather's bad. Unfortunately we couldn't enjoy the garden view as much as we would have liked because of the weather!

Nice property in an excellent location for exploring the Dales. Very quiet and peaceful. Lovely private garden with good views of the moors. No problems parking. Reeth (for shops, pubs, etc) is a 5 minute drive or a 25 minute walk along the river.

Offering infinite opportunities for lovers of the great outdoors, the wild expanse of the Yorkshire Dales National Park in North and West Yorkshire is a glorious mix of awe-inspiring scenery, imposing castles, characterful Dales' villages and drystone walls. While to the east, the North York Moors National Park offers atmospheric moorland, fragrant pine forests and charming towns tucked away within steep-sloped valleys.
