Exclusive and elegant, this fabulous property is tucked in a secluded spot within a stunning country estate on the Yorkshire coast, a perfect location for special occasions and celebrations.

Welcome to this fabulous 6-bedroom holiday home set within a stunning country estate near Whitby on the Yorkshire Coast. Looking out onto a naturally fed lake and beautiful landscaped gardens, this large luxury holiday cottage is an exclusive choice for that special celebration or get-together with family or friends. And with the estate's spa, restaurants and bars less than a few hundred metres' walk away you have everything you need for that perfect holiday in Yorkshire.

This property is quite possibly the most exclusive large holiday home on the Yorkshire coast. With a location to die for, the interior is no less impressive, so if you're looking for accommodation with serious wow factor for a celebration this is it.

Step into the formal entrance hall and find a cosy wood burner to welcome you in, along with a grand sweeping staircase leading you up to the first floor. To your left is the large farmhouse style kitchen, big enough for everyone to gather around for a few pre-dinner glasses of bubbly. With its AGA, granite worktops and French doors that can be thrown open out to the patio, it has a sense of country house grandeur. There's also a large table by the window for those noisy and oh so lovely family breakfasts!

Make your way up the fabulous staircase and discover a mezzanine formal dining room. With an open fire in the corner, you can picture those memorable evenings where good food, wine and laughter go on long into the night. Next door is the huge sitting room with its vaulted high ceilings and gorgeous views out across the lake. Elegant, spacious and very family-friendly.

The property has six roomy bedrooms to choose from (three of which are en-suite) and all enjoy those same amazing views across the estate. All of the bedrooms in this large luxury cottage on the Yorkshire Coast are delicious but we are rather in love with the magnificent master bedroom with its decadent private balcony and Romanesque en-suite bathroom. All of the beds are doubles and four are zip and link, giving you the flexibility of up to four twin rooms should you need it.

Outside the house, you can enjoy al fresco dining on your private terrace looking out onto the lake. After lunch, stretch your legs with a wander down to the beautiful landscaped gardens, waterfalls and woodlands within this 100-acre estate, say hello to the resident alpacas or head on down to the lovely sandy beach at Sandsend, just a one-mile walk away.

This fabulous property is set on its own within a 100-acre country estate in Sandsend, a pretty village on the Yorkshire Coast. Tucked away in a secluded spot in the hills sloping down to the coast, this large luxury Yorkshire cottage is also just a few miles from some of the most stunning scenery in the North York Moors National Park.

The grounds of the estate are at your disposal. Take a walk around the woodlands, walk hand in hand with someone special in the formal gardens or mosey on down to Sandsend and feel the sand between your toes within a few minutes. There is also a world-class spa with swimming pool, sauna and jacuzzi as well as several restaurants and bars on the estate, so you can enjoy all the freedom of luxury self-catering with 5 Star service thrown in. And if you're travelling with your doggie even they can enjoy a little pampering at the estate's luxury dog spa!

Sandsend is a gorgeous little seaside village within easy walking distance from the property. With its handsome promenade, long stretch of beach and several excellent dining options, you could happily spend a day there. The village is set on the beautiful North Yorkshire coastline; a heady mix of rugged cliff tops, peaceful bays and pretty fishing villages. With long sandy beaches and all the traditional seaside trimmings of yesteryear, here you can indulge in a classic English seaside holiday. That's not to say it's stuck in the past, in fact, the Yorkshire Coast's villages and towns combine the traditional with the contemporary effortlessly, with trinket shops and tea rooms sitting alongside up-market restaurants and champagne bars.

The property is also just a few miles from the beautiful town of Whitby (3 miles). With its wonderful seaside heritage, excellent restaurants, independent shops and host of bars and cafes along its medieval streets it has so much to offer the discerning holidaymaker. It's also well worth striking out to sample some of the other coastal villages nearby; Robin Hood's Bay (8 miles) is one of the most popular coastal locations in Yorkshire. The village is a maze of cobbled streets and higgledy-piggledy houses which seem to tumble down towards the sea. Staithes and Runswick Bay are also all within 8 miles, each with their own unique charm.

Head inland and you can be in the heart of the North York Moors within 3 miles. Take a tour of the impossibly pretty towns and villages in the area or head up on the high moorland of Castleton Rigg (15 miles) - we guarantee on a clear day it will take your breath away.
