The pretty village of Flamborough occupies a superb setting, perched on a picturesque peninsula on the east coast of Yorkshire, 4 miles from Bridlington. Offering visitors a small selection of welcoming pubs and restaurants, Flamborough also has much to offer the rambler, historian and birdwatcher. There are dramatic cliffs, which form an 8-mile stretch of heritage coastline, and at Flamborough Head, two historic lighthouses.
To the north of the village, the magnificent 400ft cliffs are home to one of the largest colonies of nesting sea birds in England. Discover the puffins at Bempton, 3 miles away, follow the fascinating natural trails at South Landing, 1 mile from the house, or the wooded ravine at Danes Dyke, 1.5 miles away. Alternatively, explore the smugglers’ caves at North Landing, a 1.5-mile walk. Flamborough Head Golf Club is opposite the property.
