This gorgeous two-bedroom luxury holiday home is set at the heart of Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. This stunning barn conversion has stylish elegant interiors matched by beautiful outside spaces boasting a sheltered hot tub and hand-built stone fireplace. The perfect country escape, with cosmopolitan Harrogate just a hop, skip and a jump away! As soon as you arrive you get an immediate sense of the quality of this barn conversion. The building has been lovingly brought back to life with great care and attention paid throughout. Step inside to discover a charming open place space home to the lounge, kitchen and breakfast bar. Heated limestone flooring throughout downstairs is a welcome touch.

In the lounge you have a comfy leather sofa to curl up on or the choice of two handsome easy chairs. For your evening entertainment you'll find a large TV which comes complete with Netflix if you fancy a movie night. There's also a Bluetooth speaker so you can play your favourite songs, and superfast Wi-Fi is provided too. Make your way over to the elegant kitchen with its cream shaker-style cupboards and sleek black worktop. All the usual mod cons are provided including a ceramic hob, double oven, microwave, dishwasher and free-standing SMEG-style fridge-freezer.

A further utility / boot room is home to a washing machine and dryer as well as a handy additional sink. The breakfast bar is the perfect spot to perch with a glass of bubbly whilst someone rustles up dinner. It's also just the place for a lazy breakfast whilst you make your plans for the day. In addition to the breakfast bar, the barn has a dining room which comfortably seats four. Its pine table and chairs give the room a contemporary stylish look. Pick up some local produce at one of the excellent shops in Pateley Bridge (1.5 miles) and settle down to a laughter-filled dinner which stretches long into the night.

Both bedrooms at this property are upstairs. The first is the inviting double at the front of the property. This room features a king-size bed and a sumptuous grey carpet underfoot. There's another TV in here if you feel like a lazy morning in bed, and there's also an en-suite shower room and WC. The second bedroom is configured as a twin, but can be set up as a super king-size if preferred (please arrange when booking). It also has another wall mounted TV. The family bathroom sits next door and offers a beautiful claw-foot freestanding bath to sink into each evening.

There is much to enjoy outside this beautiful property too. To the rear is an elevated terrace home to the hot tub and bespoke semi-circular seating. To the front is a lovely gravelled terrace with further patio furniture set by that a wonderful hand-built stone fireplace. In fact, all the stone walls surrounding the property have been hand-built by the owner. Further points of interest include an old hawthorn tree, a ha-ha and a lawn perfect for a picnic. A BBQ is also provided for sizzling up outdoor feasts to remember.

Take a spa day or have a massage at the Turkish Baths in the cosmopolitan town of Harrogate. Pateley Bridge is home to England’s longest running and oldest sweet shop – if that tickles your fancy and your taste buds, there are many places for food lovers to try excellent local fare, in and around Glasshouses.

An attractively-furnished, comfortable and well-equipped cottage, which is ideally-placed for exploring the Yorkshire Dales but still feels away from it all. One of the nicest places we've stayed in many years of self-catering holidays. Friendly, helpful owner and a lovely welcome pack too - many thanks.
