This welcoming three-bedroom luxury holiday cottage is found nestling in the heart of Nidderdale, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. With its stunning interiors and impressive grounds there's so much to love about this beautiful barn conversion. And 6 miles from the centre of Harrogate, a heavenly Victorian spa town packed with cosmopolitan delights. A fabulous holiday property, this is the result of an exceptional refurbishment which has transformed this traditional Yorkshire stone barn into a unique and luxurious family holiday home. The first thing you'll notice is the sense of space, both in the reception rooms and in each bedroom - plenty of room for six guests to unwind in their own spaces comfortably. This is closely followed by a sense of quality, no expense has been spared in this project, from the heated solid oak floor underfoot to the immaculate fixtures and fittings throughout.

Entering the house via a re-appropriated former stable door the first room to discover is the large living room. A floor to ceiling arched window with views out to the gardens and pond beyond give this room a real wow-factor. There's also a wood burner set within an elegant stone hearth, perfect for those cosy evenings by the fire, and a TV / DVD with channel subscriptions to keep you entertained. Wi-Fi is included too if you need to catch up online. Bespoke wooden shutters and underfloor heating complete the luxury feel. Make your way down a few steps and into the lovely kitchen / dining room featuring a heated stone tile floor and charming family dining table. There's also a snug area with leather chairs and another TV - perfect for teenagers to escape from the adults, or vice-versa! The shaker-style kitchen includes a sleek black granite work-top, range of SMEG-style appliances including a retro-style fridge-freezer and a dishwasher for your convenience. There's also a separate utility / boot room housing the washing machine and dryer.

There are three large and very peaceful bedrooms at the property, all of which come complete with their own en-suite bathrooms. The first of the bedrooms is set on the ground floor; a stylish room perfect for those with reduced mobility, particularly as it has an en-suite wet-room. There is a super-king-size bed in here which can also be set up as two singles if preferred. The remaining two bedrooms are upstairs, which you'll find by making your way up the bespoke oak and glass stairs. Both rooms up here feature king-size beds, so plenty of room for you to stretch out each evening. One en-suite has a bath with power-shower overhead, and the second a walk-in monsoon shower.

Stepping outside the accommodation is equally impressive with its sheltered stone patio and gravelled courtyard. There is a private pond and summer house set within the owner's grounds immediately to the front of the cottage, however this isn't available for guest use . And of course, there are those lovely views of Nidderdale's lush green countryside beyond. A tranquil rural retreat to enjoy at any time of the year. There are some gorgeous walks from the doorstep, and if you're into cycling, lockable storage is available at the property. Please note, as with any open water, children and dogs must be supervised at all times around the pond.

  • 3 bedrooms: 1 super-king-size zip-and-link (that can be made into 2 singles upon request), 2 king-size
  • 3 en-suite bathrooms: 1 with WC and wet-room, 1 with WC and bath with overhead power-shower, 1 with walk-in shower

This holiday home offers the best of both worlds - the peace and tranquillity of the Yorkshire Dales countryside with the cosmopolitan delights of Harrogate (6 miles) close by.

This stunning cottage has an idyllic location set within the lush green countryside of breathtaking Nidderdale, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty immediately adjacent to the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Also visit the strikingly beautiful Brimham Rocks and famous Three Peaks of Whernside, Ingleborough and Pen-y-Ghent. And with miles of stunning walks and mountain bike trails literally from the doorstep, the cottage is heaven for lovers of all things outdoors.

And no trip to this corner of Yorkshire would be complete without a day out in Harrogate. This elegant Victorian Spa town is bursting at the seams with antique shops, cafes, independent boutiques and restaurants. And the RHS Gardens at Harlow Carr are a must see too. And for eats you'll find no shortage of excellent gastro pubs and restaurants in the area; there are many more fantastic establishments including cafes and finger-on-the-pulse delicatessens across Harrogate. The town is also renowned for its spa waters, Harrogate is a hit with culturists, historians and holidaymakers alike. It is also home to the Harrogate Convention Centre which is the biggest event space in the north. Also, be sure to coincide a visit to town for the Great Yorkshire Show at the town Showgrounds. An idyllic town packed with picturesque gardens, historic architecture and independent boutiques, there’s a little something for everyone to admire. It’s no wonder Harrogate topped polls for the happiest place to live for so long! Dubbed ‘The English Spa’ in 1596 the town, found in the heart of Yorkshire, boasts spa water high in iron, sulphur and salt, which was commonly used as a health treatment when first discovered. The Royal Pump Room is still open today as a museum, showcasing the original equipment used in its heyday.

An easy transition from home to barn. Everything a visitor/stranger to the area needs. Information on area, household products, super-duper hamper, heating already on, all questions and issues dealt with immediately, and as a bonus, the maple and acers were in their prime.
