Kisdon View is a charming one bedroom apartment set in a refurbished stone Yorkshire cottage in Swaledale. Enjoying what many consider as the best view in the Dales, looking down over the valley between the hills of Kisdon and Lovely Seat, it is the perfect cosy hideaway. A great spot to pop the question if you're looking for a location with serious wow-factor!
Accessed by external steps, the accommodation is all set on the first floor of the cottage. Inside you'll find a bright and contemporary open plan kitchen, lounge and dining area. There is a 32 inch Samsung flat-screen TV together with a Blue-ray/DVD player. In addition to this there is also a sound bar system with Bluetooth connectivity which allows music streaming from guests' own devices.
The double bedroom is to the rear of the property and is accessed via French doors from the lounge. With the doors thrown open, breakfast in bed is a real treat with a panoramic view of glorious Swaledale below. The bedroom also features a Kingsize Jacobean 4-poster bed. Made from solid mahogany it is a romantic's dream and includes a 1000 pocket sprung mattress. Perfect for those celebrating an anniversary or hiding away on honeymoon.
Outside, the grounds include a cottage garden, paved patio, five acres of meadows with meandering streams and a small woodland. Enjoy access to the on-site Leisure Suite with outdoor hot tub (with the best view in Yorkshire!) and infra-red sauna. Guests can book exclusive use of the Leisure Suite via the private booking system.
Kisdon View welcomes babies and provides a travel cot, high-chair & steriliser if needed. Please note due to the steps around the property it's not suitable for toddlers. Kisdon also welcomes one small, well-behaved dog.

The apartment has a fantastic location. Nestling high up in wild and magnificent Swaledale, there is a real sense of getting away from it all. The scenery all around is real picture-postcard stuff, with ancient old stone barns peppering the dramatic hills and valleys.
The villages of Thwaite and Keld are around a mile away though if you do want to connect with civilisation! May sees the annual Swaledale Festival, two weeks of amazing music, art, walking and culture and the charming Muker show in September is another calendar highlight.
It's a true walker's paradise here and there are some beautiful walks literally from your doorstep. The walk over Kisdon hill opposite to Muker and Keld is featured as one of the Ramblers Top 50 walks in the UK and the famous Coast to Coast route passes nearby.
This area of the Dales is also particularly renowned for its spectacular wild flower meadows in the Spring, but every season has its charm. And with no street light pollution for miles around the stars at night are dazzling.
