We are thrilled to have recently launched a lovely trio of cottages in the beautiful Yorkshire Wolds. The Wolds were a huge inspiration for the artist David Hockney who loved the rolling green hills and pretty villages that typify this region of Yorkshire.
The properties have a fabulous location – all are situated within 100 acres of private park and farmland. The land is next to the River Ouse and inbetween the grand private estates of Saltmarshe and Sandhall.
The Georgian village of Howden is also just along the river and has cobbled streets, a range of interesting shops and historic buildings to explore.
This lovely 2-bedroom cottage is both pet and child-friendly with an open plan living space and lots of outside space. The well-stocked kitchen and separate utility are have everything you need for a great family trip to the Yorkshire Wolds!
Kids will especially love the large garden which includes a swing and seesaw.
Yew Tree Cottage
The one-bedroom Yew Tree Cottage is surprisingly spacious and an ideal cottage for couples looking to explore the Yorkshire Wolds (with or without a dog). It’s immaculate inside and outside there are extensive enclosed gardens with bistro table and chairs and BBQ to enjoy in the summer months.
This elegant cottage has a pretty pastel colour scheme and a spacious living / dining room that makes a great space for families to gather together. Both bedrooms (one double and one twin) have access to private bathrooms and there is a great patio area outside.
This trio of properties in the Yorkshire Wolds are in walking distance of the Blacksmith’s Arms and Hope & Anchor pubs and are all available to book now through Gorgeous Cottages. If you have any questions please give us a call on 01642 263 249.
