Set on the cusp of a pretty village in the Yorkshire Dales is this a gorgeous three-bedroom barn conversion. A fabulous interior includes Farrow & Ball colours throughout, feature beds and a roaring open fire to curl up in front of. A wood-burning hot tub in the garden keeps everyone nice and toasty outside too. As the name suggests, this charming stone barn was once home to the local cattle on the estate. It has since been transformed into a stylish and elegant family holiday home.
Entering the property from the rear, you step into a spacious and dramatic sitting room. Accents of grey and purple give this room a luxurious and atmospheric appeal. Light up the fire and snuggle up on one of two large comfortable sofas, the perfect place to relax after a busy day's sightseeing in Yorkshire. There's an LCD TV with DVD player in here, and Wi-Fi is included throughout. Books and board games are provided for some offline family fun.
The kitchen sits next door and echoes the same stylish appeal. Chic stone-colour units gather around a dining table with quirky handmade barrel stools underneath. The cupboards are fully-equipped with everything you'll need for your stay and a dishwasher is included for your convenience.
There are three bedrooms in the property, each with their own unique feature beds and personality. The first bedroom is on the ground floor. This generous room boasts a fabulous king-size four-poster bedstead and a wow-factor wet room set into the corner of the room. The remaining bedrooms are both upstairs. Bedroom two features a king-size French bed with exposed beams overhead. The final bedroom is a stunning room with exposed stone walls and a fabulous four-poster bed. There is a further wet room-style bathroom with a walk-in shower and WC.
The Dairy Shed offers much to enjoy outside too. To the rear, you have a charming enclosed courtyard with outdoor furniture, fairy lights and a BBQ, the perfect location for those al fresco dinners in summer. The courtyard is also home to the log-burning hot tub which is exclusively for guests use and available throughout the year.
To the front of the barn is a large shared courtyard, another very pleasant and sheltered space to settle down with the papers. Beyond the gardens, guests are more than welcome to walk around the estate and meet the local wildlife. The cross-country walk by the church and down to the village pub is also highly recommended. For little ones, there is a play area just a few hundred yards from the barn.
