Tucked away in the picturesque village of Lund, this luxurious farmhouse retreat offers groups of six the opportunity to explore the Yorkshire Wolds and relax in the countryside. This opulent property with a hot tub is sat in prime position to discover the hidden gems of Driffield while still having easy access to the city of York and the Yorkshire coast.

This gorgeous cottage is an idyllic base from which to explore the unrivalled Yorkshire countryside, whether you're looking to sample some of the local hiking routes or take in the sights by bicycle. You'll find your lavish accommodation within driving distance of the laid-back market town of Driffield, which benefits from a number of charming pubs, a traditional market square selling a variety of locally sourced goods, and the glamorous Georgian architecture of Sledmere House.

Step into this wonderful farmhouse cottage to be greeted with opulent furnishings, high-end finishes and meticulous attention to detail. With exposed brickwork and impressive beams throughout, you will feel instantly at home from the moment you step inside.

Sip a glass of wine at the breakfast bar, which takes pride of place in the centre of the bespoke farmhouse-style kitchen. This light-filled room is well appointed with everything needed to whip up fabulous feasts throughout your stay, including an AGA, an oven and a hob. Use the ingredients you sourced from Driffield's weekly market to create hearty stews or hefty breakfast fry-ups, filling the whole family ahead of a busy day. Additional appliances have been considered too, thanks to the handy utility housing a fridge/freezer and washing machine.

In the evenings, get the wood burner going in the cosy living space and sink into the plush seating with a book in hand. The Smart TV provides hours of family entertainment, while the dining table offers an idyllic setting to play some board games or crack out the packs of cards. On warmer evenings, feel the breeze flow through the property by throwing open the bi-folding doors and allowing the natural light to flood the room. This is the perfect spot to enjoy a cup of coffee from the machine and catch up on the day's highlights.

Upstairs, you will find the property's three beautifully dressed, en-suite bedrooms with vaulted ceilings, furnished to the highest standard. The first bedroom features a super-king-size bed, crisp white linens and an en-suite shower room. This lavish space is even adorned with an indulgent copper roll-top bath for those post-walk soaks. Along the corridor, you will find the two remaining bedrooms, which are both as equally sumptuous as the first, whether you choose the super-king-size or the king-size room.

Bask in the sunshine in your fully enclosed garden. This attractive area is a haven of tranquillity and natural beauty, which can be appreciated from your stylish outdoor furniture. Unwind here with a sizzling BBQ, relax with a glass of chilled wine or simply gaze out at the view while the children run about the lawn. You are also very welcome to indulge in a bubbly soak in the hot tub, where you can sit back, relax and feel the stress release from your shoulders.

The beautiful market town of Beverley is one of Yorkshire's best-kept secrets, with its stunning 13th-century Beverley Minster which is often regarded as one of Europe's finest Gothic churches. Take a look at the town's medieval architecture before indulging in a spot of shopping around its lively cobbled squares. Finish off with a drink in one of the traditional Yorkshire pubs where time has stood still for decades.

Beyond the town, get to know the gorgeous Yorkshire Wolds, a range of low rolling hills rising from the River Humber and sweeping along to the stunning cliffs at Flamborough Head. The gentle nature of the countryside here makes it an excellent location for walking and cycling.

The Wolds are also home to many historical homes and religious sites, as well as one of Yorkshire's largest lavender gardens. And for kids, there are heaps of fantastic attractions nearby (indoors and out), including the Deep in Hull (17.5 miles). The Yorkshire coast, North York Moors and the beautiful city of York are also all within easy driving distance and make for a great day out.
