With the moors as your backdrop and the promise of golden ale at the end of your journey, you can set off on your adventures with a spring in your step.
This gorgeous, terraced cottage is one of the oldest houses in Haworth, and part of it even dates back to the 1600s. You’ll find your lavish accommodation at the centre of this bustling village with a whole host of amenities on the doorstep. Perfect for families and friendship groups of up to six humans and two accompanying hounds, it is sure to provide an unforgettable getaway. The thoughtful owners have even provided a welcome pack to start your stay with some extra treats.
Retaining many of its original features, this stunning holiday cottage is bursting with character and charm, lovingly renovated with a contemporary twist to add a touch of luxury. With exposed stonework and impressive beams throughout, you will feel instantly at home from the moment you step inside. The lounge is adorned with local artwork and kept toasty warm by a crackling wood burner at its core, so you’ll be sorely tempted to sink into one of the three impossibly deep sofas and watch the flames flicker gently in the fireplace. Crack open a bottle of wine and enjoy a film on the Smart TV or challenge the family to some healthy competition with a game of cards.
The welcoming country kitchen/diner is equipped with everything you need to rustle up a home-cooked meal and includes a gas hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge, slow cooker and ample storage for all the delicious produce you will discover whilst wandering through the village shops. There’s a spacious table for extravagant mealtimes, best enjoyed by candlelight and a generous portion of your favourite tipple. A few steps lead down to the cellar which doubles as a handy utility room with a fridge/freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer. There is also secure bicycle storage within this room, so you can bring along your bikes and explore on two wheels.
Upstairs, you will find the property’s three lovely bedrooms, each unique in style but all featuring beautiful, vaulted ceilings and furnished with the utmost comfort in mind. The first bedroom has excellent views out of the window and boasts a king-size bed dressed in crisp linen as well as a TV for peaceful nighttime viewing. Along the corridor, you will find the family bathroom, a generous room with a shower over the bath for long soaks. The remaining bedrooms are equally as charming, whether you choose the pretty double bedroom or the twin.
Stepping outside through the patio doors from the lounge, enjoy the wonderful countryside views from the beautiful cottage garden. Take a seat on the paved terrace with its table and chairs and sample afternoon tea with a view. Then at dusk, you can fire up the BBQ and sizzle up a storm. Fully enclosed, your four-legged friends will love exploring and the lawn provides the perfect spot for a picnic in the sunshine and garden games. To round off a perfect day, why not toast marshmallows on the firepit and stargaze to your heart's content?
In terms of parking, you’ll have one permit for the nearby car park, and further cars can also park nearby for a fee. There are shops, pubs and restaurants literally on your doorstep, so why not take advantage of the nearby offerings and give yourself a break from cooking?
