There is a good range of shops, restaurants, pubs, and takeaways. Around the village are several interesting walks, and Great Ayton makes a great base for walkers wishing to explore the stunning countryside. A little further away is Stokesley (4.8 miles), an attractive market town with a variety of pubs, and restaurants with take-away options.
