Holiday cottages in Farndale
Located right in the centre of the North York Moors National Park, Farndale is filled with green valleys and heather clad moorland with a selection of walks to try to country pubs and pretty villages. Farndale is known as Yorkshire's Daffodil Dale and in springtime there's a swathe a native wild daffodils that walkers can follow along the length of the valley.
Farrndale highlights include the peaceful hamlet of Church Houses, Low Mill which marks the start of the daffodil trail and Blakey Ridge which is the highest point in the North York Moors. You can also take a scenic walk through the valley to the nearby village of Hutton-le-Hole. It's one of Yorkshire's prettiest villages with sheep grazing merrily either side of a stream that runs through the idyllic village green.
