Lovely warm cosy upside down cottage in a quiet part of a picturesque village. Having the living accommodation upstairs made best use of light and views beyond the garden though the ceiling is chalkenging in places. Kitchen well equipped. The host was very welcoming and informative, available but not intrusive. A great base to explore the Wolds & ERead moreast Riding coast. Enjoyed Beverley, Spurn Head and discovering the Puffin sculptures. Sewerby and Burton Constable halls and grounds had lots to offer Hide

This lovely cottage in the picturesque village of Lund was very well set up and comfortable, with a smart kitchen area and two ensuite rooms with great showers. The seating area in this upside-down house looked out onto the garden. Everywhere was clean. The recommendations for meals out were spot on (the Wellington in the village and Westwood in BeRead moreverley). It was a great centre for visiting this part of Yorkshire. The host, Mr Booth, was friendly. A very enjoyable holiday. Hide

We arranged a last minute break at The Tailor's Workshop and we were not disappointed. It is beautifully decorated & furnished, with super comfy beds. We were greeted with a lovely welcome basket of goodies. Lund is a picture postcard village, complete with the excellent Wellington Inn; be sure to book well in advance if dining. The cottage is perfRead moreectly located for access to the many places of interest in the area and to the spectacular east coast, particularly Flamborough Head. Hide
