The vibrant little estate village of Osmotherley is well known as a starting point for walkers and cyclists, located on the western cusp of the North York Moors National Park. Nestled between the glorious Cleveland Hills to the north and the Hambleton Hills to the south, the village is flanked by some of the finest scenery in the moors. With its olde-worlde charm and chocolate-box good looks, it offers excellent facilities including three pubs (of which two are fantastic gastro pubs), a cafe, village stores and a fish and chip shop.  

The beautiful market town of Helmsley is within easy driving distance and is well worth a visit.  If you fancy a little pampering, you'll find the Verbena Spa here; perfect for a little me time indulgence!  There are also a host of charming independent shops as well as lots of options for eats, including a Michelin-starred restaurant. Our luxury holiday cottages in Osmotherley are also just a few miles away from the pretty market town of Northallerton where handsome Georgian houses line the long main street.  The wonderful Betty's Tearooms is here, as is a fantastic local deli, Lewis and Cooper's Food Emporium, and the quintessentially Yorkshire department store of Barkers. You're also close to Castle Howard, York and the North Yorkshire coast, so lots of choice for day trips.
