Self catering holiday accommodation in Ravenscar
Ravenscar is nestled on the North York Moors heritage coastline dramatic between Robin Hood's Bay and Scarborough and is known for its spectacular see views and a colony of around 300 seals. The headland here was once used as a Roman signal station and the seals can be found on the rocky beach below. Follow a steep cliff top path through the rocks to get a closer look at them.
Ravenscar is a popular choice for walkers with a location that’s on Yorkshire’s Cleveland Way and you can also access the Yorkshir Coast Cinder Track route between Whitby and Scarborough from here. Not far from Ravenscar is the peaceful Hayburn Wyke waterfall which makes a lovely spot for a scenic summer picnic.
