Self-catering holiday accommodation in Reeth
Enjoy the peace and quiet of the Yorkshire Dales countryside, and experience a true flavour of Dales village life all at the same time from a luxury holiday cottage in Reeth. Here, old Yorkshire stone houses gather around a large village green, with the stunning scenery of Swaledale as the backdrop, offering plenty of places to enjoy lovely walks. Bring your pet with you and stay in one of our dog-friendly cottages. This incredibly pretty village has several little independent shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants. There's also a cute little ice-cream parlour which your kids will just love.
Every Friday you can wander up to the market on the village green and bag yourself some locally produced, fresh Yorkshire cheese, jams, honey and fish amongst other things. And if you head down in the opposite direction, you'll reach the river Swale in minutes. Enjoy a relaxing riverside walk or paddle about in the water to your heart's content. If cycling is more your thing you can hire bikes in the village. Just a little further on from Reeth is the village of Low Row which is lucky enough to have an award-winning gastro-pub, The Punch Bowl Inn, one of Yorkshire's finest restaurants. Its sister restaurant, The Charles Bathurst Inn, is also close by in Arkengarthdale.
