Self-catering holiday accommodation with hot tubs in Swaledale
Peppered across the northern fringes of the Yorkshire Dales, our Swaledale hot tub cottages offer luxury self-catering accommodation in which to relax and explore. An area famed for its beautiful river, hardy sheep, local cheeses and scenic attractions, it is a truly unique destination. If you are looking for one of our private hot tub cottages to indulge in a rejuvenating break, you will love discovering the unspoilt landscapes and flitting between the area’s picture-perfect villages, many of which still retain their original Viking names. One particular village, Muker, is well-known for reviving its traditional knitting industry, creating gorgeous Swalesdale wool jumpers – wonderful (and cosy!) mementoes of your holiday.
Even though our cottages with hot tubs can be hard to leave, there is plenty to see and do across Swaledale and its surrounds. To stretch your legs, a walk along the River Swale to Easby Abbey is a real treat, while you can also easily join sections of the Pennine Way for more of a challenge. If cycling is more your style, hire a bike and cycle to the drystone walls of Arkengarthdale and James Herriot country or try the gentle Keld to Reeth route. Upon your arrival in Reeth, you will find a variety of welcoming tearooms, shops, pubs and a market selling local produce ready for you to refuel. Not far from our hot tub Swaledale holiday cottages, Richmond Castle is also a must-see – an 11th-century castle with amazing views of the Yorkshire Dales. Explore all this and more with a stay in our hot tub cottages in Swaledale.
